10 worst pc ports nobody wants to remember

A lot of PC games are just ports of console games and some of them are really bad at launch. Here are our favorite examples gameranx: IMPO Square Enix has kinda let their Q.A go down hill, like if it's not a FF game it gets little to no love by their dev teams. Look at Outriders as an example, people I knew were crazy hyped about it and now you hear little to nothing about the game, with most of the updates coming out being criticized for not making the game better or more optimized. You know it's bad when a PC that can run game optimal at 1080p mid/high graphics with 144+ FPS, runs Outriders and gets maybe 80 FPS on DX11 with the graphics being set to all lowest. I remember when Square Enix games were almost the pinacol of gaming in terms of graphics, story, and a better overall quality of a game. Now it's like they're becoming the Japanese version E.A and it really makes me sad to think that.

5:20 As a programmer, I sorta know why this is? Well, at least in Unity, not sure if this applies to other engines, but you need to calculate all movements based on the time passed, because by default, it calculates per frame. So say, if you were moving something 1 unit per frame, and the frame went up to 60 from 30, it would be moving twice as fast. If you multiply it by the actual time passed, so say 1 unit per frame - however many seconds passed(usually 0.05-0.1) it would keep it steady no matter what the frame rate is. They apparently didn't do this with need for speed lol

PC games are both good and terrible at the same time. Look at Skyrim and fallout they suck on PC without mods but with mods it's the best thing ever. Same with batman and God of war game it unplayable without mods on PC but mod fixed everything. console games on PC is bad but I do envy some of the PC exclusive games like StarCraft and Warcraft I wish I still had my ps1 and N64 to play StarCraft 64 and Warcraft 2 on ps1. Hope Nintendo switch put StarCraft 64 on the 64 emulator. Or at least hexen 64.

When I started Dark Souls, I spent hours dying needlessly because I didn't know the game had a lock-on feature- because the goddamn instructions on the floor were only for the Playstation, and I thought that this was simply a part of the game's infamous difficulty. I actually ended up putting the game down for several months, until I found out about DSfix. So yeah- thanks, From.

I torrented Resident Evil 4 and on my PC and it had a mouse support Mod and it was so bad if you were aiming with your gun and tried to walk forward, it would make your gun aim upwards and it was unplayable so I just deleted it

I-ve been playing gta 4 on pc and honestly I haven-t ran into any bugs the worst thing about it honestly is the game always looks a little blurry other then that I have no issues with it but I have a beefyish pc

I've heard that Onimusha 3 on PC is very bad. I wouldn't know, even though I own the game. I've tried to play in on three desktop computers and two desktops, but I couldn't even get the game to start.

Nioh is not a great port. It makes you use a mouse and keyboard, but acts like a controller and only gives you controller buttons instead of keyboard and mouse keys, so you got to figure it out.

Toukiden 2 was another great game that had a terrible PC port... If you have no gamepad it's unplayable. Like, literally, they just didn't bother to put in PC controls to a PC game lol
