It-s not too talked-about because it isn-t a game with a very large fan-base, but Monster Hunter definitely fits the bill. Monster Hunter World vs all the previous releases is a huge step up in graphics. This is in part because it went from mostly a handheld game to a console and later PC game. It has some of the nicest graphics I-ve seen in games, whereas even Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the second newest game at the time, had graphics that absolutely paled in comparison. I believe the series even had one or two console entries before World which were greatly outdone (though it was mainly a handheld game).

Considering we came from pixels to 3d games the older games were a break through when gta3 came out all people was saying is look at the sweet graphics perhaps we shall have games that look totally real in 10 to 20 years time. i know graphics are good now days but you still know it doesn't look real as if you was seeing it with your own eyes if you look at games they seem to have an outline around thing we don't get that in real life.

I remember several years ago, my dad and I went to a store and we saw a football game being played, and it took awhile before we realized that we were looking at a game on the Xbox 360, and my dad, especially coming from the days of Atari, was blown away by how realistic the graphics in these games are, that it was good enough to fool him that he was looking at an actual football game.

not me waiting for botw but seriously its the most gorgeous game I've ever seen but i know it is lower quality compared to this list but is just amazing world with different grass lengths that are long when u don't walk on then and shorter when u had travelled on it's just incredible

This vid was dumb to compare over 20 years of gaming graphics. I would understand if you did next Gen, but to do 2 to 3 console in between is crazy! Those games had cool graphics for that time, while today we wait for patches -. Not to take a dumb on today!

Seeing as how I-ve been replaying all the Final Fantasy games available on PlayStation (which sadly is only 7-15 for the most part) in anticipation of XVI, how about comparing Final Fantasy I to XV? Talk about a massive graphical improvement.

Watching this I-m remembering games on pc like dragon age origins that you can adjust the graphic settings and the difference was just astounding between min/max settings. Seeing other games like that in a list would be really cool.
