The classic Grand Theft Auto games (GTA, GTA2, GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas) are filled with amazing details that were ahead of the curve MemphiStig: in San Andreas, pedestrians had random conversations with each other. some peds picked fights with cops. peds didn't just get carjacked, they fought back, sometimes with weapons. the depths they went to in npc behaviors was insane. and then there were the riots. a whole new level of npc insanity. i spent a lot of playing time watching and listening, and occasionally profiting from the chaos. none of the other games went this deep. (idk about 5)

Quick tip: If you're playing Vice City STORY try pointing(I forgot if it's L or R) anything to a friendly gang member(not the cholos, bikers or the one in the other island) and press up arrow you can hire or recruit one at a time and will fight any targeted npc or go with you.
(You can find those friendly gang members near any Empire Buildings that you own outside)

I walked by a pedestrian on Vice city and he said -YO MOMMA SUCKED US BOTH OFF-...And stores that open and close through the day had been done before, in fact in 1999 in Shenmue for Dreamcast. Shenmue was the first sandbox game. You often had to wait for businesses to open to ask questions for your investigation.

I loved taking cars in Grandtheft auto 2 to the car crusher and getting weapons for specific cars and taking out swat teams with flame throwers was the best thing ever. Wow playing from the top down view so much I thought playing Grandtheft auto three would be impossible. One of the best series of games ever

Rockstar is nostalgic, revolutionary & legendary,
They were the only company who used to make games with passion and love, they knew how impress gamers, unlike nowadays shitty companies trying to sell you stuffs even after buying their game and all microtransaction shuts

My recommendation knows how much I was disappointed by the Definitive Edition and now wants me to appreciate the old games more.

Honestly I-d LOVE to see kids now days struggle with some of the missions in San Andreas like a lot of us did back in the day.
