this reminds me about a boss fight where you needed to shoot an enemy in the head ones the tricky part is aiming was bad and he did travel by a fast train so you did just have a second to react when he comes my friend did try that boss for about a week without turning off console and he did not take it down i did try it and got a lucky shot in a couple of hours ow yeah it is in a dark tunnel too...
i cant remember the name trough

What about Star ocean-s final boss idr the bosses name but it took a long time to beat I had to just control my healer and hang back to revive my team as they died sending atk spells on occasion but not to much to avoid becoming his target and end up having my healer downed it wasn-t a 12-30 hour fight but def longer then some of the earlier entries in this list

Escape Velocity Override on a Mac back in the late 90's-- I took out the Voinian Dreadnought...
...with a UE Fighter. Granted, it had a cloak that let me evade any Frigates that randomly popped into the system, but I was using Phase Cannons for their speed and reach while doing the whole Adara gambit of hit-and-run tactics while outpacing the Voinian neutron cannons.

I stop playing squarenix games, because developers forgotten what fun is. Too many sociopaths in that company. One day I copy stewie in family guy. Fly over to the main developer in Japan and punch him in the mouth.Say that payback for the final fantasy boss. Seriously 2 weeks to defeat him? Then kick him in the nuts and walk away.

I played MGS3 for the first time when I was around 14 and the battle with The End frustrated me so much that I stopped playing the game for a week, only to find out that he ended up dying anyways. All my food went bad but I guess that was a small price to pay for salvation

I never fight Kushala in world, but you can use poison weapons to Actually hold the winds, especially insect glaive, since IG have aerial and ground moveset, so you can inflict damage and poison on them.
But still, easier said than done

i don't understand why developers would ever create a boss like these
i think it is just bad game design to have a boss be virtually unbeatable - especially if they have access to ridiculous healing spells

Didn't expect kushala on here. It was annoying at first but after researching it and having the right equipment, it wasn't so hard. I ran LBG and started speedrunning kushala shortly after my first encounter with it.

I don't remember which boss, but in xenosaga, I had to constantly revived my allies in a boss fight. I took like 5 hours to win, probably cause I was bad at the game and like 10.
