Demon-s souls ps5 - 5 biggest changes

The PS5 remake of Demon's Souls is releasing soon, so we've gathered some of the best news of what has changed this time around. Sources below ki: Played the original when it came out and enjoyed it because it was a fresh experience. It was janky and lacked polish especially in some zones but the setting and bosses are still by far my favourite out of the whole series. I never knew what I was going to get with the bosses in this game and as things went on it really lost that uniqueness of design mechanics.
There is no real reason for me to revisit though I mean its only 11 years old or so and still perfectly playable. Just seems kinda pointless to pay a ridiculous amount of money to play a shinier PS3 game. Funny how the original was a game few played and was not even going to get a release in the west and now its getting a remake thanks to the success of Dark Souls which is just a more polished and refined but more production line type version of it.

I'm disappointed about the equipment burden. I never carried tons of healing grass with me, so that doesn't matter to me. What pisses me off is when I have to leave important items behind. There are parts in the game where even if you start the level carrying next to nothing, you will end up being loaded to the max if you explore and find items, and then you'll lose some once you see that you can't carry any more. The only way to avoid it is to keep a very close eye on your equipment load and not try to pick up anything else when it gets too close to full, then replay the level to pick up the rest of the loot. Lame.

As a gamer I refuse to believe that gamers are this foolish.I guess they will get the sky rim remastered as well for ps5. Well I see why publishers aren-t even going to bother with new And original I.P. Imagine having the same game with the same story and gameplay for PS3 ,4, and 5 They must make a killing of those people.

Hi,
I have put Demon souls the first time yesterday and it copied to the console which took some time, about 15 to 20 minutes again, but then it played fine. Now I am putting the disc for the second time and it is copying all over again which seems from scratch, is this normal? please help

I really liked the original (more than DS1 and DS3, less than DS2 and Bloodborne) but im gonna skip this one. Its the same game, only better looking, but without this awesome atmosphere and music. Imo not worth 70e and not worth buying console for.

With this and the PS5's backwards compatibility with the PS4 you can play Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Code Vein, Nioh 1 and 2, Lords of the Fallen, Hollow Knight, The Surge 1 and 2, etc... So many ways to die on one system.

Bruh...they didn't give us the 6th world in this remake? Probably the 2nd worst disappointment I've had all year, right behind FF7R. So what then? They're gonna leave the broken archstone in there for us to look at?

Kinda wish they fixed the clunky ai movements at least, it isn't a feature it's outdated because honestly i don't think anyone wants to wait for maneater to land while he flies for 2mins straight again.

Looks off. Kinda like sotc. looks good but off.. I mean imagine redoing monalisa but with a filter... dark gritty edgy dull. Ds remake just... and it looks clanky.

So you can now actually get a pure bladestone and +5 your slashing weapons without begging someone from the hall of fame to drop one for you haha, nice.
