10 things we all do to get a feel for a game

Sometimes, when getting adjusted to a new video game, we do some really dumb things. Here are some examples of things we all admit trying in new games Ryleigh: Lol I'm pretty sure most people don't do number 9, cause also it's kinda the one that makes the least sense. The first time a cutscene comes on, assuming you want to watch the cutscenes, is kind of your first introduction to the story of the game lol, especially if it's the kind of cutscene that happens to intro like the first level.
So what, I start the first level, want to follow the story, but skip the first cutscene and then just have to start playing? I feel like the first time through is literally the worst time to skip a cutscene if you want to follow the story and get that immersion, and the reasons you gave seemed kinda vague and situational. In case you need to suddenly pause the game? I generally make the time specifically to start playing a brand new game lol.

Jump up onto stuff during call of duty or crawl under stuff- I wish there were chill modes in first person shooter games so if you-re new or bored you can explore a little bit without being attacked at all. I-m bored when it comes to call of duty mobile so yes you-re gonna see me exploring a little. I get so bored at times that I mind my business until provoked by someone or try to escape the boundaries and let my characters finally live a peaceful life.

Anyone else press literally every button just to see what each one does, even trying different combos to see if there is any extra moves your character has, I do that in every game no matter what type, I want to know what I am able to do before some tough enemies show up and I only know the bare minimum

Bwahahaha soooo true all of it...my wife was like did you just shoot me? (In video game people jeez) I was like well yeah...gotta see if friendly fire is a thing we need to be worried about.... then she shot me through the rest of the game just to be a dick ----

No 2 nope I don't try to break the game by glitching etc.
However what I can believe you didn't add was
Go to options
Look for subtitles settings and also master volume as I want to hear what's being said over bgm.

What about running and pressing the crouch button to see if you can slide....and then slide-jumping ( sliding, jumping when you lose speed, and then sliding when you hit the ground ) to move faster if you CAN slide.

We take destroyable environment as a normal feature nowadays. But I can definitely say, I was so shocked when i experienced it the first time. With like crysis i think. I thought it was the coolest thing ever

In Smash Bros Melee, Young Link's bombs could do friendly fire even when you couldn't do friendly fire. For whatever reason, Adult Link couldn't do it. I used to troll the shit out of my brother with Young Link.

so I guess learning the controls at the first available moment isn't common then? The instant I got control of link in botw I familiarized myself with how he moved and what buttons do what.

I'm waiting for the game that tracks if you do all these things and then gives you an achievement for -Testing all the things-, even if those mechanics don't exist in the game.
