Ps5 update: 10 new & hidden features you should know

Sony's PS5 has received a new system software update that fixes and changes a small variety of things. Here's everything you need to know JayyKellyXIII: One feature I love is the ability to hold down the mute button to mute the entire system, that is an amazing quality of life improvement. That being said one shortcut ability I would personally like to see involves using the often neglected TouchPad. For instance, what if while on the home screen, we could use 2 fingers on the TouchPad and swipe either left and right or up and down to quickly adjust the system' overall volume and screen brightness? That would be awesome to quickly quiet the tv or tone down the brightness due to changes in your playing environment. Those are just major settings that would be nice to be accessible quickly without going through menus or grabbing your TV remote.

7 months late but I-m confirming Sony forsure messed up the wifi update. Just got my ps5 a few days ago, loving it, but I had to drill holes through some walls to run a Ethernet cable cuz the damn wifi wouldn-t work during set up for the ps5. And it wasn-t my wifi that has issues cuz it-s running fine now thru the lan. This is messed up for people who aren-t as fortunate to have a house and parents/landlords cool with & helping u do DIY stuff (it looks nice/ can-t even see the wire my pops a pro haha). Like come on Sony

I have been a PC gamer since Crysis but sony put out so many must-have games that I bought a PS4 pro and i was shocked by how complicated it was when it came to settings and optimisation and changes, I thought everyone bought consoles because they are easier to deal with, not so in my experience there seems to be no straight forward way of getting to where you want to go and when you get there your options are severely restricted.
It's the only thing other than the price that is putting me off buying a PS5

Wait, how do you mean you can't store your saved games? As as long as you can store your saves on the actual ps5 and when you transfer games back and forth between external and console you don't lose everything you did it doesn't matter...the saves don't take much space up so you can keep them on your console....you don't really need to store your saves on an external hard drive.

Don't buy a ps5 the remotes are trash the spring snapped due to the trigger effect i got a drift and I bought a USB that didn't work so I got a new one super fast thing still didn't work plus it corrupted the first USB I used because moving them it turned off

I just got my ps5 last week, it sucks that rest mode is apparently sketch. I figured if the power goes out or whatnot that you'd just have to repair or rebuilt database when you turn it back on, like the ps4 did.

Nice. Still in need of really interesting exclusives. Like every game is still produced for ps4 and all you get is a little higher resolution and fps.. the ps5 hype is only a thing because nobody has one.

If your PS5 making a fan noise already just freaking diary your room Or something-- haven-t heard mine at all in 2 months. It-s like it-s saying: it-s this all you got? So check your ps or remove the dust

If you want a hdr monitor 165hz that's 2k n can't afford the 4k ones with 120hz hdr. Then I would get the Dell S3220DGF. The one with 2.1 hdmi. It will accept a 4k resolution and downsize it to 2k.
