Looking for a good RPG but short on time? We've got you covered with these great RPGs Craig: Gotta say that Alpha Protocol surprised me at the time, many moons ago, as it was far better than I expected. It's overlooked and underrated, but us a lot of fun to play.
It's one of those titles I constantly overlooked, in favour of something else, but after running out of games to play, took a chance and regretted my reticence to initially buy it.
By today's standards, it does pale into insignificance in comparison, it's short, but great fun and is something I'd recommend, if you have a few hours to spare and want to play an older game.
Sometimes the least favourable option can be a real gem.

Shadowrun = YES but honestly only if you-ve played the original Shadowrun on SNES. Truly a brilliantly created RPG way ahead of its time. You played it? In my opinion it is a forgotten masterpiece of the 16 bit era. Embrace the spirit of the player at the time and play it if you have not.

Don't know now how it is, but Fable Anniversary when released it was really annoying to play (I played first on Xbox 360) cause of the lag. On PC it must be better, bought but not played yet.
Really great game though. Even with lots of lag, I finished on 360. Love Fable.

People don't talk about parasite eve enough. I am also that old, and I grew up with the poster from the strategy guide on my wall. The sequel is unbelievably good as well. Thank you for mentioning one of my favorites!!!

shadow run looks more like ....X PUNK....this what you should have said...
But the more i watch your videos i wonder if you ever even played xcom? cause you never mention it in these situations.... where it's SO obvious.

If were talking old school RPGs, you can crush through the original Final Fantasy in about 8-10 hours.
Also: Check out the Costume Quest games. They're short and really good!

Chrono trigger, the best game of all time. Everyone should play it at least once. If you really want to complete the game and max all characters, you can spend 25-30 hours

helpful video, I have 3 these in my backlog, downloaded but unplayed (outer worlds, child of light, and undertale) so letting me know they are a quick play is helpful :)

The fact that you mentioned -The Legend of Dragoon- in great PS1 RPGs makes me so happy. Literally my favorite RPG growing up. I wish there was a fricken remake.

Fable: TLC is the best Fable game. Anniversary has better graphics but the new character models look gross and the UI changes are not that great.
