Resident evil 8: village - 10 things players hate

Resident Evil Village is great, but there's always something to nitpick. Here are some things that really get get on players' nerves Daniel: My biggest issue with this game is that it's resident evil 7 in a resident evil 4 style yet, it's WAY shorter than 4 I feel like. My very first playthrough it took me about 7 hours and I only missed a few things. Resident evil 4 definitely took me a lot longer for my first time and I had to playthrough at least 3 times to find everything. Played this one twice and found everything and initially after your first playthrough with any resident evil game, you're a lot more likely to beat it way faster. I still loved the game but, if it was longer I would've loved it more. It's like they tried to mix the old school feeling of resident evil to where you can best the game really fast once you're familiar with it but, I don't think that compliments the resident evil 4 style too well. Just my 2 cents

I know this was 8 months ago but, really? The meat made it that high? When I played the game for the very first time, which was probably 3-4 months after its release, I was only missing 1 fish for the last recipe... hardly annoying because I new I was going tohave to play thru the game again anyway. There's one area before you meet Chris in moreus area off to the right where there's a cave that I totally missed my first playthrough, if you go thru there, you should have enough for all recipes in 1 playthrough. I understand not everyone is the same type of player but, when it comes to resident evil, I've always looked everywhere I possibly could. Anyway, thought the meat being an issue was dumb

I love that the majority of people complaining or complaining that resident evil is a resident evil game. 6 through 10 are all key aspects of resident evil and the tropes that make it suck which is why people love them. More puzzles and more intense puzzles with consequences would have been dope, the one place you almost lost me at was being able to backtrack entirely. With the game being so sandboxed and linear there's not many times where you have consequences for your actions, not being able to backtrack all the time is the closest thing to that. It's almost like not being able to backtrack as adding to replayability, which is something that resident evil is also super based on.

I really wanted to go back to the castle later because of missed items and just because I like the place, but unfortunately it's not possible. Also, I think it would be cool if you could choose to go back to the castle at night before you fight Miranda and have the castle now be haunted due to all the horrors that happened there. I mean many people wanted to see more of Dimitrescu and her daughters, and that would be a good idea. Just imagine being haunted all over the castle by ghost Dimitrescu and her daughters. That would be something!

The seventh and eighth are so accurate to me- I realize I have trust issues whenever I found a bunch of extra ammunition only to find out I was only being paranoid about whether there's danger lurking next door. I guess one thing I find hateful about it is you don't get to gather reinforcements before you face a boss, you normally fall into the arena and are forced to run around to gather items whilst being chased by the boss, which all the more compounds the anxiety issue, if you know what I mean

Okay so I must say one thing right now I don't agree with him having to deal with the vampire lady because as we all know the vampire lady is not the first boss you have to fight. That would actually be the first one of her daughters. Also he mentioned that Chief Mendez was the first boss in resident evil 4 that you have to fight. That's actually not correct. As there is Dr.Salvador which is the very first boss you ever have to fight and he is in the village.

First 2 hours were amazing. After this it was a chore. Boring and uninspired. Some big mass of unidentified material and they called them boss fights. Absolutely disappointing. I was expecting it to be in a village with supernatural lore and stuff. It felt that way the first 2 hours. Then it became the generic Anime hero vs villains.

I hate all of it... it jumped the shark with the paranormal crap, it introduced vampires and werewolves... RE totally lost all sense of it's origins, and has mutated into some kind of monster i no longer wish to know or support. I began to boycott with 8, and i really wish i didn't review 7 favorably.

The castle gave me very DMC 1 vibes and I love it for that. Honestly I was skeptical about this game because I've never enjoyed RE all the much but love survival horror. Never been a big zombie fan though. I absolutely loved this game. Did 4 play throughs back to back.

By the end of my 1st playthrough on normal i had over 100 shotgun shells, younger players who did not play the classic RE games don't have the mind set to Save resources and use the knife to Save up as much ammo as possible...they want Modern Warfare.
