I should know better than buying a Bethesda game on day one, but I will. because I know eventually they get it patched and working decent. The Creation Engine 2 thing worries me a little, but maybe they've worked the bugs out with this version. I certainly hope. I got burned out Fallout 76, so I'm hoping this game is Bethesda's return for the fans. I complain but every played every game since Daggerfall for hundreds of hours. lol Their narrative is sometimes weak, but they build interesting worlds. Buggy. but interesting.

I gotta admit, I'm not really as interested in this as I by all rights should be. Although, I just had a thought. Are we thinking there's a chance that some of the original ideas for what PREY was supposed to be back before it became what it became? Like the one from the teaser trailer with the bounty hunter in an alien city, back from like. 2014 or something. Cuz that might actually get me mildly hyped for this game. Which is always a recipe for disappointment, but nevertheless.

honestly as it is and after everything we've seen of the game, i cant say i'm very hyped. I mean, this is bethesda's next big project? The game world looks insanely bland and uninteresting and the fact that they're drip-feeding us info doesn't bode well to me. I'm not a big graphics guy, but tbh this shit doesn't look very next gen. But idk maybe the story is amazing and I'm just being cynical, wont hold my breath tho.

As Todd said, Full mod support. In other words. We'll put the game out. It'll be up to you the customer to do the unofficial patches, to which we'll piggy back for future expansions, break what you did, just so you can do it all over again.
On the other side though, while y'all are calling in sick days, vacation, and pto. I'll be sitting back knowing I'm retired, and have all the time in the world to enjoy lol.

I really wish this would release on PlayStation because this game actually looks really fun. I don t want to have buy an Xbox or build a whole pc to just play this game. I don t know a lot about game development but I feel like financially adding it to all the platforms would be best but this is coming from just another casual player

keep your expectations low. bethesda games are great. however, todd lies a lot. remember the lies he said about oblivion, skyrim and fallout 4?
i m still excited for this game, considering todd has said they won t be repeating the same mistakes they made with fallout 4 but my expectations are being kept low.

I hope there are cooler designs for the ships. All the ones they briefly demonstrated in the demo looked quite bland and boxy. Where are my sharp angles, jet speed, vibrant, Cowboy Bebop, Redline, Star Wars looking beasts.
