The way guns mix and match ammo types. Some game will make every gun have it's own ammo type. Others will use the same ammo for all guns of a particular class. It makes a little bit of sense when you consider that any given firearm can be chambered in an absurd number of calibers, but that's a manufacturing decision, not a mid combat hotswap.
Worst offender off the top of my head is Far Cry 5. Where most guns pick one of these two system, FC5 doesn't quite. For the most part is goes with class based ammo (pistol, smg, rifle, etc.). However it distinguishes .50 cal weapons from other weapons. This results in your Desert Eagle shooting the same round as the classic anti-material rifle present in nearly every shooter ever. The novice gun nerd in me has a heart attack nearly every time I look at the two guns in the same inventory.

the gun placement one was a stretch. if you've ever been to the firing range, witch I'm guessing not. people do hold there gun that high. trying to quickly aim down the sights of a gun when its sitting at your waist or hips isn't practical. there are 3 types of ways to aim all of them having there benefits. hipfire, aiming without your sights, and aiming down the sights. what you seeing in most games is them keeping there weapon ready to aim without the sights. its not having you gun jacked up its being at a ready position to fire or aim on the dime. common man.....

One way I've heard to think about being shot in-game is to think as your health as luck rather than actual health. You're not really being hit, despite the redness on your screen. When you do die, that was just your luck running out and that one bullet WAS the one that actually hit you. It's kinda dumb, but it sort of adds logic to it in a way.

Well as for the nr. 10 point i seem to recall that Star Trek Elite Force came up with a portable Transporter buffer in wich they stored their weapons and equipment. But indeed in most other games like FPS and RPG they have nothing or at least some backpack in wich they can apparently store several hundred kg's of materiel.

I-ve always found the extreme protection body armor provides to be annoying, like yes the steel plate you-re wearing did somehow stop the .50 BMG round I sent into your chest, but the kinetic energy is still there and the shock probably shattered your spine

This game is based off REALITY!
This revolver shoots .357 magnum, has a magazine capacity of six!
Five days later
Hey bro did you get the upgrade for the new revolver?
Yeah now my revolver has a magazine capacity of 24!

I play shooters in VR, let me say that blind fire is common and precise, because you take like 4 seconds to position yourself to aim with a gun compared to a second with your pistol to point you freaking gun and shoot.

0:25 magnets and argent energy, but mainly magnets (think holstering weapons despite not having a holster in video games, just stick that sh-t to your side with glue or whatever, but using magnets and an argent suit)

Lean peaking around a corner where your scope only sees a pixel around the corner, if the scope is looking just pass the wall the barrel is pointed at the wall. The bullet fires from the barrel not the reticle
