I was very. optimistic about this game, but thus video has made me wanna go at it, originally I thought it would be some nft skin buying live service cr p box, and the gameplay looks odd to me, since being used to the arkham games and such it didn't feel right, but now I'm opening up to the fact the game may be good. but seeing how many games release unfinished or just broken, yes cyberpunk is a classic to geing up for this scenario, but it did fix its self (mostly, and plenty other games have been buggy messes so many may understand my opinion of this game, long story short I will play this day one and I will go back into comments section to notify anybody else who is also skeptical about this game to inform on weather it's fun, drull, broken, or beautiful

My biggest complaint about this game is that it's not a continuation of the Arkham story when at the surface looks like it 100%. The reverse happned with Origins when WB Montreal and Rocksteady both said that Origins was a prequel and playing through it and Arkham Knight you know it really was a prequel but Rocksteady tried claming it wasn't part of the Arkhamverse after the fact. That's the most annoying thing about these games imo. I love them all and Origins was fantastic and I consider it canon. I'll probably pretend this game is canon too unless for whatever reason there are some big story elements that don't add up.

I am excited for this game, too, but one thing does make me laugh:
Them: Yep, Bruce Wayne is dead, 100%.
At the same time, included in the deluxe edition: - Beyond Suitstyle, inspired by Batman Beyond universe
Do you know what would be required for Batman Beyond to be part of their universe? Bruce living to a ripe old age. chuckles Does that guarantee anything? No, but it does feel like a bit of a See what we did there?

Tbh the best thing about the Arkham games was the style. It blended comic book and Tim Burton batman perfectly. It was like a grown up animated series. This just doesn't match the Arkham games in the style department at all, it looks actually kinda bad in terms of style. They could have at least went the teen titans direction, but they just dipped their toes in that and it feels all over the place

I'm so very pissed at no local co op & honestly I haven't played so many games because of the purposeful omission of something that logically should be included. I want to game with the kids in the same room or my friends when they come over. We don't play ANY games any more when the homies are over unless they feel like playing something old.

I still don t understand how a Batman game gets made without Batman. I love the bay family. I think tim drake is one of the best heroes in DC. But I don t want to play a 20-30 hour Batman game thinking man I d rather be Batman like does anyone remember how much it sucked it halo 2 where you spent more then half the game not controlling master chief?

It's like you have a franchise that already has its success established as God of War and instead of making sequels you decide to take Kratos (God, badass, killed all the Gods that crossed his path) from the history and make a game about the same universe but with the blacksmith dwarves (the brothers) as protagonists. For what?

Batman and Commissioner Gordon are being held hostage in an unreachable blimp, forced to watch the destruction below. At first, the blimp will look like apart of the vista every time you look up at the sky - when in actuality, it IS the plot twist. Gamers won t find out until like 80% through the game.

Not professor pyg omg, he was the worst. I actually hated him so much in the last Arkham game, he was so creepy and weird. I just wanted to get away from him the entire time he was on screen in Arkham Knight. On another note, I really hope Poison Ivy is one of the characters who appears

I don t think Batman is actually dead tbh. In the DC universe, hardly anyone stays truly dead and I mean look at Jason. I m not saying I m 100% positive but it s hard to believe. I do hope Gotham Knights has some flashback missions where you fight alongside Batman. Would be cool to me.

i feel im probably just gonna play the whole game from start to finish with one character, beat it then start again with another and do that 4 times until ive played with everyone the entire time. im pretty sure that not the fun way to do it but i want to see how it differs per character

My gut is still telling me this game is way too overhyped and homogeneously undercooked, based-on everything I ve seen about it so far. I much rather prefer the darker, Arkham tone in aesthetics and writing. This one still seems too easy in difficulty and too thin in the writing.

I m really excited for this game! I think this one will bring in new players as well into DC games, with the way the story is setup and getting those characters into the spotlight feels like Gotham Knights will be a good entry point for new players into this universe
