But what they should do is just give us 4 or 5 big, all inclusive, worlds instead of a bunch of tiny themed ones.
This realistic world.
A Final Fantasy world.
A Star Wars world.
A Marvel world.
And a Disney (kids) world.
Maybe add a more linear level or 2 to incorporate the more teen/adult Disney worlds, like Pirates of the Caribbean or Tron.

I completely disagree about that comment about it taking a decade for KH3 to come out. Only two of the handhelds games are more or less spin offs. The rest are bonafide sequels. Not the kind of console experience that is ideal, but in 2013 they announced that development had begun, similar to what they did here. There's no validity to waiting for a game that hadn't even been confirmed, even more so when there were sequels to the story there all along. And 6 years is pretty standard for the full development of a game, most western studios just try to keep things underwraps while they work on it for a few years then announce it.
And I do wish Square would do this too, but you know we've seen this same kind of thing time and time again with the first Breath of The Wild, Metroid 4, FFXV, FF7R, I think MGSV if I remember right, and the list goes on. We're in for a long wait for KH4 but I think it comes down to poor marketing choices rather than mismanaged development.

Definitely not buying this day 1 like kingdom hearts 3. This looks interesting but kh3 made me lose a lot of interest in the series. They took a decade plus to release kh3 only for the story to barely answer any questions. It just feels like they dragging this story out for it to never end. Kh3 was a step backward in a lot ways gameplay wise and story was god awful. Hopefully kh4 will be better but im more interested in ff7 remake part 2 and ff16.

For real though, even in a pre-render it looks like they re keeping the floaty combat and special moves junk that made 3 into a joke. My skepticism is absurdly high. KH1 was a great start, KH2 improved the combat and offered a new, unique rpg element. Annnd 3 showed us what it s like to have ads in a console game. I ll check in on it, but I m not trying to play 3 again, the disappointment was painful enough the first time.

Honestly I grew up with kingdom hearts. I was a kid when 1 came out. and 2 was the most amazing game I ever played. With that said I don't bother anymore. There's been just so, so many side games. Stories twisting and changing as they go. sometime contradicting a previous entry. I tried 3. I was so confused I didn't have much fun. Finished the game and didn't even know what had happened hardly. This news is dreadful to me.

KH1 and 3 are skipable. 2 is the best so far.
4 is looking to be really good.
I'm hoping it is!
If you only have time to play a few of them, and want the best/most important to the story, play Birth By Sleep, 358Days/2, Kingdom Hearts 2, and hopefully 4.
Other than the Kairi and Riku plot threads, everything was summed up to lead into 4 quite well it would seem.

Tbh, I like that they're taking their time, it gives them time to get everyday perfect and it also it gives me time to try to play the older games or at the very least look into them and get into the lore. This game mainly interests me cause it's in more of a real world. Wasn't always too fond of the disney worlds and stuff but it did seem interesting but now I'm very intrigued.

I loved listening to to you explain the story it was hilarious but the only part I want to mention is to understand the new story arc and strelitzia you need to watch videos on the mobile game those are ESSENTIAL! (I believe the game is canceled now)

Because Kingdom hearts 2 came out all the way back on march 28th, 2006 - said over a clip of kingdom hearts 2 release date of December 22, 2005. You should get a bit more creative with the pictures when it comes to these errors, editor!
