Amusingly, there is a hint for Sellen's quest, telling you about the place hidden beyond the Selia Town graveyard. Problem is that the graveyard is a bit away from the town, so putting two and two together right away is not easy.
The super obscure quest with the blind finger maiden (or so it appears) that starts after you've finished the quest back in Weeping Peninsula, involving other blind person. Now this quest has a good reward for certain builds and tied to one of the endings, but in itself is so obscure it's just WOW! . Very-very FromSoftware quest.
The other quest a faith build might be interested in is from sir Gedion the All Knowing. This is easy to miss too, from what I've seen: after you're done with the Capital, he will talk about the Empyrians (children left behind by Marika and Radagon) and how their whereabouts are unknown. Each time you find one of them - you can go back to Gideon and you'll have a new dialog option where you tell who and where you've found and he'll reward you with incantations.

I've also found the POT Dude in a random tunnel I got lost into just at the end of the tunnel there is room with 2 doors, behind one of them is a boss fight and the other is where the exit and he he is in. You can actually see him through the wall as the wall and door to the exit is made of wooden planks. Not sure if he will assist you with the boss as I was kind of under leveled for that dungeon and choose to just leave instead.
It was funny because when you meet him again there he says something like oh bro, are you lost too? lol

I actually used that needle. I was going for Ranni's ending on my first go but was planning to do NG+ with a faith build and madness incantations. Well, you can get the perfect focus for that as part of someone else's quest but only once you accept the frenzied flame. So I do that, got my focus, used the needle and sailed off into the sunset with the moonwaifu.

I love how fromsoft literally made an entire character off of one line of dialog from Bloodborne.
Fishing hamlet priest: Lay the curse of blood upon them, and their children, and their children's children, for evermore. Each wretched birth will plunge each child into a lifetime of misery.
And now we have the dung eater.

There is also an alternate resolution to Dung Eater's quest you get by giving him the potion intended for Nephili Loux and turning him into a puppet. I think it's great poetic justice to make a person like him who defiled so many do some good by taking down corrupt demigods and restore order to the lands between

I was going to wait until it came down in price, but given the recent and irritating overkill of these vids regarding it from Gameranx, I've been turned off it completely now. Perhaps when it's in the bargain bin a few years from now, i'll reconsider. but the genre just doesn't interest me.

Blaidd and Alexander are the only companions? What about Millicent? She follows every step of the way and can be summoned to help fight in major progess bosses. What about Latenna? She turns into an Ash of War that you carry for the rest of the game! They're both ride or die companions!
