10 Overhyped Bosses That Were Actually DUMB Fluff: I'm the very rare black sheep that avoids boss fights. I cannot say why exactly but I offend EVERYONE who finds out about it. I just hate that alone by yourself lets figure out how this guy moves trapped in a claustrophobic no way out instance where all judging your performance. I don't want easy bosses. I want no bosses. I just want to live and build and grow and gather loot. If the world has an open boss everyone can share like Rift and Bless Unleashed (sorry but they did have good field bosses) then yeah great I'm not trapped forced to stay there not allowed to leave or advance. I have help that isn't judging my every thought and move or forcing me to go faster.

I don't think I can agree with the Calamity Ganon entry. The reason he defeated everyone 100 years prior was because he was smart enough this time around to target the machines and divine beasts that helped Link and Zelda to defeat him previously. This time, the four divine beast riders, Link, and Zelda were overwhelmed by their own machines. Plus, Zelda only became ready to face Ganon after all of her supporters were already defeated. All she could do was use her newfound power to lock Ganon inside the castle.
Link spends the whole game undoing the damage Ganon did to the beasts and fighting the machines he possessed. By the time you actually do make it to Ganon, you're just about as powerful as the Link and Zelda from ages past and should totally be powerful enough to defeat him. If you don't free the divine beasts you can fight him at his full power.
I can agree though that the boar Ganon thing at the end was disappointing.

If literal joke fights like the professor count for this, I was rather disappointed by the lack of Mysterio from the ps2 Spider-Man 2 game. Okay, he wasn't the big bad, that was octopus, but still. The guy's been harassing you the whole game, running you through multiple gauntlets, defacing the statut of liberty, that kind of stuff, then eventually you get a police report that this guy(who's been presented as an alien, iirc) is now robbing convenience store. You go there, he gets three health bars, then you punch him once and all three bars disappear.

I feel like Margit in Elden Ring was a bit over hyped. Allow me to explain. The hype about him was created by the community. I watched videos of people getting wrecked by him. Upon closer look I noticed people making a b line for him almost immediately. So of course people were getting wrecked. If you go in at the appropriate level and you have done some exploring and picked up better equipment he is kind of a pushover. If you go in at like lvl 30 at least he really is no problem. Lvl 30 is the recommended lvl for stormveil according to the wiki.

I accidentally walked into the calamity ganon battle. I had the master sword. I don't think I had defeated 3 divine beasts but maybe I had (definitely not 4) and was going through hyrule castle to grind for items and I got to the end and was so sure that there was no way I would face of against the final boss. Then I did, and I beat him (not on my first try but didn't take long) and I just sat there thinking That was it? That was seriously the final boss? That was so lame. What were you thinking Nintendo!

Wha, no mention of the 'bosses' from DX: HR! Even if you didn't just default to the Typhoon to get it over in one blow, the collection of them left A Lot to be desired. So for DX: MD you'd think the devs knowing full well that the lackluster bosses from the first game was a definite weak point and would bump them up. Nope! We're just not going to have boss fights at all.

Uhm Actually, Will Ferrel is the Night Hawk, John C Reilly is the Dragon, also, this is kind of an old-ish game, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, Death's a chump, you can basically beat him with just fyling kicks, another boss that disappointed me a lot was Adam Smasher, for some reason Sandayu Oda is so much harder than the guy who's nearest to the end of the game.

Adam Smasher from Cyberpunk. They really hyped him up and made him seem intimidating. Then you fight him and he's nothing special. Just another Animal built Cyberpyscho. Even after edgerunners you would think he'd be scary.
Another one is Alex Mercer from Prototype 2. You're pretty much a God at the end of the game, and fighting him was a cakewalk

On the subject of overhyped bosses, Skyward Sword springs to mind. All things considered, I found Demise to be relatively easy, especially compared to the Cistern boss, Koloktos. Even The Imprisoned was more challenging(though mostly because it took me embarassingly long to realize I could attack his head WITHOUT tripping him with his toes)

Fun facts about Dracula, the reason The Dragon is used as a nickname, is because that's essentially his name. Dracula comes from the old Dracco/Draco or Drago, each meaning Dragon, and more particularly, based off the Romanian Dracul, which means, you guessed it, Dragon.
Here's a little culture today for anyone reading! Have a good one

I also feel like Tomb Raider Trilogy's Bosses are disappointment as we go through whole game and last you fight a normal human whereas whole game you were fighting mystic soliders.
Side mission bosses are much better than final bosses. Like who remember BABA YAGA boss, She was much better than Konfestain(last boss(rise of tomb raider.

On Calamity Ganon, HOWEVER, he wasn't exactly defeated as we all know and can't technically BE defeated cuz he'll just resurrect again and again. Tears of the Kingdom will probably answer this overarching question or at the very least just be another entertaining game with more lore to munch on: ) Either way it does not disappoint, imo.

In BOTW I played for forever, did about all I could do and never battled Gannon because I figured he'd be too hard. I mean thunderblight Gannon kicked my ass so badly, Calaminty Gannon had to be like 10x harder than that, right? When I did finally battle him I could not believe how easy he was! I fought Lynels that were harder.

The only tbf I give to Simon's Quest Dracula was that he was literally just revived. There's not many of us that are ready to fully function right when we wake up. Pretty sure Dracula didn't even have a coffee lol. Still, it was pretty weak how that one went vs many of my other Dracula battles in other Castlevania games.
reply

Hmmmm. Not sure about all that dragon talk lol. The only reason then name doesn't feel scary is cause of how we've romanticised them in games and films etc lol. Pretty sure if they were real they'd be scary as fk lol. And what about Bruce Lee. He was a scary dragon. Or would have been if he were a villain lol.
