10 Hardest Decisions Video Games FORCED ON YOU S.: In Fallout 2 (most people here never played it, sorry) you can give up (or sell) the location of a vault where friendly NPCs set their base. At first you don't realize what the consequences could be, so the game doesn't force you but in your first playthrough you will definitely do it.
Later when you come back to the vault and pretty much forgot about the whole thing, a cinematic shows you what you did: the place was raided because of you, everyone slaughtered, and all that for an extra amount of cash.

Choosing Best Girl betweeen Aerith and Tifa. In Chapter 10, you fall into the sewer and have to pick between them to aid in getting a private cutscene with them later. I think on my first play, I picked Aerith. Seeing Cloud come out of his shell with her was really sweet. But I was rewarded for the choice with what I feel was the best of the three scenes later in the garden. Cloud damn near admits to having fallen in love with her, something I never imagined he'd ever say, given his personality in, well. everything. So many favorite moments in that game but that one probably ties with my other favorite, the ending of Chapter 9 and all things Andrea Rhodea

Not a bad list but a little disappointed you didn't have the decision between saving the dreadnought or Bull's Chargers in Dragon Age Inquisition. You get to spend enough time with his companions in the tavern to develop an attachment and it helps make them more than just random NPC's to be discarded. It alters the type of companion Iron Bull is for the rest of the game. The choice itself is pretty intense too. Convince Bull to let his friends die at the sake of a foreign alliance or sacrifice them for the good of the cause. Nice moral dilemma

The Witcher 3 presents moral dilemmas extremely well. There are so many decisions you can make in each quest that affect the ultimate outcome, and the moral choices almost never have a clear cut best answer, allowing you to come to your own conclusions as to what the ideal outcome is, and allowing for some excellent roleplay opportunities on subsequent playthroughs. The world is absolutely teeming with rich and deep stories, and it's always a treat uncovering each and every one.

Not sure how many people here have played TellTale s game of thrones but there is a decision in like episode 4 that was so hard for me to decide that I ran out of time during a slow motion segment that the game chose the choice for me! I was sitting there for at least 5 minutes stressing about what to choose it was such a harsh experience that I want to beat the game like 20 ways. So many choices I want to try to see what happens! Game of thrones is freakin wildin in game form!

Bruh, the children in the NieR Automata Pascal sceen did not turn on eachother, they commited suicide. And the reason they did is because of fear. Pascal over instilled a sense if fear in them, and that was the consequence, which makes Pascal not just heartbroken but feeling guilty.
I hate well the annoying well ackchyually guy, but that small change makes a huge difference when you examine this moment alongside others and the themes of NieR Automata.

Shimura was never a question to me, killing him is a really emotional scene, sparing him doesn't feel like it will save him, the shogun will be pissed and probably just order him to commit seppuku (if he doesn't do it for Honour(TM) reasons to begin with.
The Baron's questline is probably the best I have ever seen in a game.
Virmire is not hard, I just flip a coin because I hate both of them.

South Park stick of truth, when you create your character and go to pick a name. Cartman says you have entered Douchebag, is this correct? When you click no he just insists your name is douchebag, and insists that's what you picked. Such a great part of that game. especially first time players who honestly are trying to make a legit choice and have no idea your choice means Dick to Cartman

Unusually cruel even for the Witcher is kinda like saying it's unusually high casualties you take if you storm the beach of Normandy, just making it even harder to choose which way to go and I love that about games bc it gives you enough reason to try it again just to see the outcome bc the Witchers outcomes feel like they hav real weight and its hard for games to do that nowadays

Oh man yeah 1 & 4 were the hardest for me. Lee is an awesome character and I didn t want him to become a walker. On my first play-through I did let Clementine shoot Lee but I changed my mind because I thought that choice was too dark. As for Mass Effect yeah I like both characters. That was a though one. However I did save Ashley because my Shepard romanced her in 1-3.

I remember saying screw this, I'm not leaving this cool ninja and his dog behind and I was actually surprised that he actually appeared! Thought he was a goner for good and that the game would go no point on waiting for him and then made me jump automatically. Something similar happened to me in Dragon Quest XI with you-know-who.

I am the very model of a scientist salarian,
I've studied species turian, asari, and batarian,
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology,
Because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology,
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian,
I am the very model of a scientist salarian!

Haha Mass Effect for a lot of entries actually. I prob spent more time trying to make my mind up on hard decisions like that but managed to breeze through the actual gameplay. for me personally I think it makes sense for Ashley to die and go down in a blaze of glory no matter if you romance her or not.

I m terrible at making decisions in games. I used a guide for Heavy Rain because I was so worried I d make the wrong choice. When Detroit came around I decided to trust my gut and I got Kara killed at the beginning of the game ( Ohhh, I was supposed to go upstairs and try to save the girl OOPS! )

Honestly the Mass Effect 1 character thing is so interesting, cuz Kaidan is the same voice actor as Carth from Star Wars, so like we know this voice actor is capable of bringing out a solid performance, I just think the writing on Kaidan's character was sadly very weak.

Another thing to note in the BG2 choice is that certain character classes, like paladin and monk, lose their abilities if they shift alignments like that. So you have to lose someone else and lose all your abilities or you lose levels and stats.

There is more to that choice in the witcher 3. If you save the kids, the spirit also kills all the people in the village close by a bit later in the story.
So the real choice becomes, a village worth of people vs the handful of kids.

I'm not afraid to admit that I cried at the end of the Telltale Walking Dead season 1 ending. If anyone didn't cry at the end, they have no soul. lol The choice for Mass Effect was easy for me, I saved Ashley without any hesitation lol

Out of left field: ending C/D of Nier gestant/replicant. Obviously D is the right choice, but in order to get all of the endings you have to do C. And boy, is C/D one of the hardest choices to make. How do you save the woman you love.

Surprised to not see any Metal Gear Solid 1 mention. Surrender to the torture and condemn Meryl or endure and let her live? When I was a teen I and my friends destroyed our right arm's muscles to mash that damned O button!
