March 2021 was no slouch in the video game news department - especially if we talk about the really crazy stuff. From cheating crime rings to video game preservation efforts, we have a lot to break down

I was going through a bad time once because of a game, it was super serious, I was having deep, traumatic mental episodes because of it, mostly due to microtransactions and ending up with what was effectively a gambling addiction, I rang up the developers and basically cried down the phone, asked them to permanently ban my account because it was either that or suicide to break free...
They didn't do that but they did actually have a department that helped people like me and it was the most emotional feeling I've had in most of my life because a company actually had the facilities to help me get through something I'd caused myself by over abusing there system...
However, that being said, it's very important that these companies take responsibility and try harder to limit microtransaction spending if they're adamant to keep it in the game.

The whole concept of that guys perfect team being unattainable because it would take 900 days is perfectly fine. The whole idea is that you-re never gonna be able to create the PERFECT team. That-s literally the point. It-s not suppose to be something anyone can attain. I don-t understand why someone is actually mad that the amount of time required to attain the perfect team isn-t actually doable. It-s forcing you to make actual decisions on which players are most valuable for you to get. That-s the whole damn point. If getting the perfect team was realistically doable then it would remove any shred of decision making...
It-s shit like this that makes me hate people these days lol the fact that he-s under the impression that he should be able to create the perfect team is just so ridiculous

I broke a controller once playing a game. Broke it in pieces in my hand because I couldn't get past a very difficult part of a game. Luckily I had another controller and eventually did get past it but I didn't threaten anyone and my cat thought I was angry at him, so...I did get punished (from my cat) for my useless anger.
I've been 'building' something in Fallout 4 for two years but it ain't no building, and that I know of: no one has done it. I figure, with everything else: won't be done for another couple of years. It's very boring what I'm doing and so I take many breaks.

Why should we be surprised that EA makes FIFA players work for their goals, at well below minimum wage.
This is indicative of the inherent greed by AAA publishers like EA and that they aren't here for us gamers. I really hope that one day EA, Noobisoft etc get hammered in one way or another and have to leave the gaming platform.
As for Toast, what a legend and that 10k was well deserved, kudos to him!

wait so we are complaining about getting paid 5$ an hour for playing video games now... I mean if it was like 10 bucks an hour people might actually career this and idk if game devs want people career grinding so they dont have to pay for in game purchases. If it was higher it would soon take the money out of the devs hands and put it into the free market so Id say 5$ an hour is pretty reasonable.

Don't get me wrong the guy who worked on that for a year in fallout 4 did a damn good job. However my friend if he would stop making characters he would probably be about the same place too if not more cause dude doesn't work doesnt sleep hardly and just plays games.

I work in the semiconductor industry as a manufacturer for plating companies. There is a lack of supply for materials on our end which is causing a bottle neck on producing more machines to help meet demand. Fwiw

Playing a single game for a total time of around 3 years is nothing if it was spread out. But I can't even begin to imagine doing that much work for a game that would be obsolete in less than 6 months.

More than half the time I spent in Fallout 4 was building or finding items to decorate our structures. For those of us who are architects or aspiring architects it's a compulsion.

The child who spent all the money should A) get spanked B) never be allowed to play a video game again, and the console/computer should be sold to make up for what he stole.
