For Dungeon Keeper point, come one, no love for Dungeons series Like sure they started bit poorly, but 2 and on did really well trying to bring back spirit of Dungeon Keeper. All are on Steam, Dungeons 1 you can skip, it has 43%, Dungeons 2 is where it got interesting, 78% and it only went up from there 3 with 90% and 4 at 86%.
Plus War of the Overworld also got no love from Gameranx Come on at 86% on Steam you can hardly say it is doing poorly. Like I really think those two should be mentioned as at least kind of trying to do it.
Also Evil Genius, despite being different game was kind of inspired by Dungeon Keeper. Just saying, it would be nice to give mention to good attempts. And also I think 1st Evil Genius game was better than 2nd, which feels bit to mobile phone era to me, if I were to sum it up in one sentence. Reviews seems to agree too 1 has 94%, 2nd one has 74% recent and it needed to drop to USD to help it, since overall is 68% despite help of all that recent sale boost in positive reviews.
Anyway, I get why some worse games don't get mention, like Overlord series past 2nd game. Yeah, it is real shame. Because Overlord had quite unique idea and I loved it. I wish there was something bit like it or it getting more good games. Also I really would love to see someone making new spin on Dungeon Keeper formula. I love all above mentioned games, but Dungeons is kind of just doing its formula and I think it needs competition. And similar is true for Evil Genius, I really wish for less mobile game inspired version of that.

I know its not a new opinion but Papers Please really is a fantastic game. Just the pressure to keep doing your job so your family don't starve or die of disease, or you get executed for failure. All the while do you take a bung for your family, do you look the other way while the rebels sneak through. I wouldn't say you are a terrible person though, or you don't need to be (though it will sure make you feel like it. Its more the pressure to ensure the survival of those you love combined with the banality of evil.

You talked about Far Cry 3, but from my point of view Far Cry 4 is also a good example. When you think that doesn’t matter who between the rebellion leaders you choose, there will be a lot of bloodshed, you find out that your father was a merciless rebel too, and you end up not laying down your mother’s ashes, which was the whole point of you going there in the first place. To think that siding with Pagan was the best decision it really is something

spec ops, i remember getting ut for the Xbox 360 without knowing anything about it and i played slowly I felt something was wrong but i didn't car until spoilers
i bombed the shelter, they didn't tell you what it was until you walk in to see what you have done and it made me put my controler down and just walk away just thinking. i remember nothing else about the game

Can we talk about games with the worst bullet sponges or difficulty shifts because Kane and Lynch is up there. You play that on max difficulty and the bots are in human. I remember shooting a guy in the head, he went down, he was dead, then he went full terminator and sat bolt upright like nothing happened. It was impossible!

Black and White was great for this. You could be a benevolent god if you wanted to, or you could steal settlers from rival villages and sacrifice them to make you more powerful. Or teach your pet to go kick over rival settlers, throw rocks at their home, set fire to their food storage, etc.

So, you shows Evil Genius 2 gameplay, but never mentioned it was the sequel. The games are different, in good ways, but the sequel gameplay is only 50% like the first.
Was this on purpose, or did you have an intern who doesn't know the difference between the two games do some editing

Recently played a bit of Dungeons 4, and considering you lead the army of the Ultimate Evil, thought it would fit the list.
You're also killing the stereotypical heroes like warriors and mages.
It's looks a lot like Dungeon Keepers too.

Plague Inc. is actually the spiritual successor to an even older game series: Pandemic and Pandemic 2. An old flash game series I was frequently playing probably 15 years ago. So it has even more staying power than you think.

Fun fact, the Overlord games were written by Terry Pratchett's daughter, Rhiannon!
Between her writing, and Marc Silk's voice work, they really elevated those games. Glad to see they haven't been totally forgotten

An obvious choice are the fable games where you can choose to be ridiculously evil but another one are the red dead redemption games rdr2 especially. As likable as arthur is he does some pretty despicable stuff

There must be someone out there, potentially even watching this video right now, that has the knowhow of and the will to update the Manhunt and/or the Dungeon Keeper games with better textures and stuff.

I remember reading about kaine and lynch in a videogame magazine back in the day. I dunno if i spelled it right and i never played it, i just remember it being a thing quite a good few years ago.

Really wish we'd get more reverse-slasher, stealth-action horror games like Manhunt. The only other franchise to come close to the atmosphere and dread of this one would be the Condemned games.

So many fun games. Overlord, Dungeon Keeper, Spec Ops (mind F, Manhunt( got the game for my bday and my friends had me play it with my headset on so the bad guys could hear me. great friends)

Fallout 3 deserved a mention here. Even though you can be an evil character in any Fallout game, the fact that you can nuke the entire town of Megaton for a few caps is truly something else

For me, Transformers Fall of Cybertron makes me feel like the ultimate villain. Playing as Megatron or Bruticus often involves you just decimating the Autobots and it feels so damn good.

Good to see someone do something beside talk shit abt Kane n Lynch. Those games were awesome i bet half the ppl that talk shit abt them just heard some streamer say they don’t like it
reply

I know it's too obvious to include in this video, but I had a lot of fun in one RDR2 playthrough I did, seeing how evil I could make Arthur be. It was fun in a sick sort of way.
reply

I appreciate that you guys even mentioned, Black and White.
That was such a cool idea of a game and I've always quietly waited for a new one.
It would be a lot of fun
