In the case of EPIC games suing people, what exactly are they asking for? Why not just ban the players in question if they have hard proof? I don't feel sorry for the kid at all if they have proof. I get really tired of logging into a game (in my case Rainbow 6) and getting slagged by people that are blatantly cheating. It ruins the enjoyment of the game for everyone else and casts a shadow of genres that would be more well received if not for a -toxic player base- stigma. If the mother openly admits that she didn't give him parental consent to play the game in the first place, than wouldn't she be the one to be sued for her negligence in knowing what he is playing online?

The hole swat thing happened down the street from us here in Wichita Kansas all of the news has been going on and on and on about it. But I guess the story was a dude called in a fake tip and they raid his house and than they shot him so now there bringing the guy from LA back to ks and i guess he's had a history of calling fake tips over the last few years.

Are you kidding? People spend that a month, hell a week (they'd spend it a day if there weren't daily cooldown restrictions on packages) on several mobile games like Summoners War, etc. People are only beginning to see this on bigger franchises but this problem has been around a very long time on mobile platforms.

Considering the filed lawsuits were printed using a mail merge it's probably not their intent to sue a child without the civil right to manage credit in the first place. To prove the kid responsible would lead to a counter suit for dealing prohibited trade with a minor. It's obviously a mistake.

i agree with the mother on this one. if their anti cheat systems were actually worth a crap, they wouldn't need to go after 14 year olds, or thousands of other people legally for cheating. it really just detracts from the issue of their poor anti cheat measures.
