Being a destructive force of nature in a video game never gets old. Here are some of our favorite destruction-filled games gameranx: Good choices but 1 serious omission. Xcom Enemy Within. By the time my squad have finished there is barely any of the original structures left. Given that I've used squads comprised of 3 heavies & a mech that's a lot of scenery destruction.

Everyone forgets about the ole PS2 Transformers game. Highly underrated and forgotten! You could level the military base as Blackout, destroy a town as Barricade, unleash Hel on a city as Megatron and Starscream. I miss that game!

Populous the beginning is such a favourite of mine the point is to become a God, but with cheats on you can unleash your inner megalomaniac. You can rain fire trigger earthquakes or volcanos.

What-s that game where you run around attacking people and breaking things in a public place like a mall or wherever? Not with zombies it-s like a mass destruction type of game for points

It's far from my favorite game, but does anyone remember a Sega Saturn game called Starfighter? You could literally level mountains into flat ground just by shooting them.

I liked using the tanks on company of heroes to crash into buildings. Just take out a corner here and a wall there and boom . You have a bulldozer -
