Driver is not a Ubisoft-game. It was simply bought up by Ubisoft, or the studio was, and it's still open (though, as far as I can find, their last game was 'Ode' in 2017, but they might have supported other studios, back in 2016, while the first three games were not under Ubisoft. - Not to say those were the greatest games ever or that the ones under Ubisoft were bad. Arguably San Fransisco is probably people's favorite. But I'm just saying, I don't particularly see it as a Ubisoft-title somehow, not cause of the style, but who really connects the two brands.
In any case, I feel like someone should just make a proper Driver-game, and I have a vision for it, but no ability to make a game, especially not of that type. - If anyone wants my input, like a creative director (among other things, and you (and others) can make an open-world driving game with good physics and such, let me know.

A new Spyro is more deserving than yet another Crash game, sorry!
Halo the show, for a game (H3 mostly) that i played across the country competing in, made amazing core memories with friends within and many hours practicing all night long drinking soda for tournaments, the tv show was literal shit in comparison. One of the main, small, big details that killed the vibe, was Chief's actor having his helmet off 85% of the time during the show.
The Mandalorian had his on all seasons and it worked, well, so they could've done it for the Halo shot just the same and they chose not which made it feel less like Halo, less interesting/mysterious and more boring as if it just felt like another lead actor, playing a soldier, instead of Chief to me personally.

The Halo games storyline was a homerun, especially with the expansion of the core story in the books and comics so if they would have just stuck to the source material instead of trying to go with an alternate universe, they would have stuck the landing. I agree with Jake, wet fart and all. They should start over and hopefully learn from their mistakes and give us the show that the massive built-in audience deserves. Especially me, who's been here, just waiting for it since it was a third person shooter announced at Apple World
I still have the Xbox marketplace videos done by the WETA Workshop downloaded on my 360 that showed so much potential compared to what we actually had to suffer through on Paramount Plus

Netflix games are, in my opinion, the same thing as the Diablo Mobile game announcement. Instead of You guys have phones right, its You guys have TV's right No one asked for it, no one opens Netflix and says to themselves I really wish I could play my favorite games on this platform. Heck, no one even considers playing any game on Netflix period. That screen shot you showed of the article, it clearly states that less than 1% of the Netflix user base has even played a single game. No one will ever play a single game on there, they will never make a game that anyone wants to play on there. It is a horrible idea and they should stop wasting time, money, and peoples talents on it.

The Netflix games having 80 games In development I believe to be very misleading. Dead Cells as well as Katana Zero are both on Netflix, great games but this ware games developed for other platforms and ported to mobile and than having a Netflix version for f the game (in DC case that’s the complete package with all DLC) anyway I would not be surprised if ports like this are part of the 80 in development.

Would LOVE a new, big budget Driver game with a really solid story. As long as they don't Ubisoft it and cram a bunch of padding into it. Driver needs a tight narrative and really good driving physics set in a large city. Maybe throw in some side missions here and there ala the phone answering machine from the first game. As long as the content is meaningful, I'm for it.

I've been gaming since Pong. Yep, I'm that old. I loved the Driver series, and it cracked me up how everyone had a hard time with the tutorial garage. I breezed through it, but then again, I was a truck driver my entire career, so driving is second nature for me. If they do make a Driver 4, I hope they keep it in the 70s with classic muscle cars.

Driver was the first game I played when I was able to afford a ps1 as a kid. Driver 2, MAJOR improvement on 1, loved it. driv3r we won't talk about. Loved parallel lines, loved san Francisco, even though there was room for improvement. Bottom line, I have not given up hope on the Driver series, and I need to see it

You remembered the garbage that is college football but forgot TMNT splintered fate it dropped this past Wednesday on switch its a great Hades like game with up to 4 player co-op. I know it started as an apple arcade game but honestly no one plays apple so this is basically the real release.

Played and still own every game from the Driver series. If they're going to make a new game for the series, hopefully they take their time and not rush it cough cough (Driv3r. I'd settle for a ground up remake of the original Driver, but it being Ubisoft I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Netflix Games with new groundbreaking titles such as
Bricks (it's just tetris with bricks)
Queens Gambit (It's just chess with cutscenes)
Stranger Things (its pacman but those dogthings chase you)
The Great British baking show (It's candy crush with ingredients)

Flintlocks character is bland Who could have possible guessed. Couldn't be any noteworthy reason that could've happened, such as the character being altered by some pressure group or anything No, because trustworthy journalists would report on that, right

1: 50 I owned that first driver game on PS1 back in the day and I remember I spent literally months and months before I finished the tutorial in that parking lot. I did have a gopd time playing it after escaping that parking but I almost gave up at some point. Lool

Speaking of Prime Day, I was able to get a really nice hardcover copy of the Lord of the Rings with all 3 books, illustrations, maps, and a built-in bookmark for just $30, which isn't much more than the paperback boxed set. It was normally $90 which is insane

I’ve been playing the DRIVER series since I was a kid, I’ve always enjoyed them 3 was definitely a let down. Parallel Lines is pretty darn good & SF is absolutely fantastic! & I hate that WD is on ice, cuz that’s also a really decent series.

Driver was sucha dope game on pc, being able to edit a reel and control the camera all the way back then was awesome and it would be great if Ubisoft made it and didn't screw it up and promised that buying the game actually meant you owned that copy.

Having played all the original Crash games, I can say without a doubt that Crash 4 was better than all of them by far. If Crash 5 truly was in development and got cancelled, then I am heart broken. I was very much looking forward to Crash 5.

Actually GTA III is a driver clone even though the first 2 GTA games were top down 2D games it doesn’t really count as a 3D diving open world game. It’s like saying Tomb Raider is a Prince of Persia clone as one is 2D and the other is 3D.

I played Driver 76 I think its called The one in the 70s and I remember really liking it as a kid. If they do a new one. I hope its somewhere not in America. Literally anywhere else. Japan or Hong Kong is a sure thing for a great setting.

If it wasn’t for Unlocked podcast I would have no idea that Halo TV was a thing, that’s the only place I’ve ever heard about it. Maybe allowing other people to have creative control will help it. Halo is a whatever franchise to me.
