Give me A Linear Souls-like Lord of the Rings. Or a linear action RPG where you start from the shire all the way to Mordor. Can you imagine all the bosses this game would have. Your whole Adventure would cover all three movies. Imagine the boss music for the witch king, but you can only play as Eowyn in that particular boss fight. You can see the battle of Pelennor field in the background while you're fighting the witch king

A German who runs the launcher 2. 22 (if I really remember the number) has there for download Sum1 and 2 including Witch King available and online is only available with whom you can do it in English (no idea why you can't play with other languages online but no problem) He wants to bring other Lord of the Rings games into the launcher later, ALSO Lord of the Rings the Conquest

Conquest is so underrated! But War in the North will always be my favorite LotR game, it’s the perfect balance of inserting a new story into existing canon and doing it in a compelling and interesting way. Maybe you guys could do a series for underrated LotR games (Or you could actually probably do a whole list video of underrated LotR games, there are enough of them )

I didn't like this game tbh. It had a cool concept, but the combat just felt way too janky. It was always easy to get stun-locked during a melee combo against someone and be unable to get back up to defend yourself. Neat concept, but poor execution. Think I'll just put this game in the back of my memory and just continue playing classic BF2.

The best LOTR game by far is in fact a mod for Medieval 2 TW Kingdoms called Third Age TW Divide and Conquer. There is a new LOTR mod being developed for Atilla TW called The Dawnless Days (due to copywrite) and they are finally able to edit the campaign map and it is looking awesome. Seriously check it out.

I think it was middle earth but my favorite is the game when u were a group of random but parallel characters to the original characters and the whole game was u following around the main cast cleaning up after them and helping from behind the scenes I really loved it was a massive game too rele miss it

I remember I had LOTR conquest on my ps3 as a kid. It was easily one of my favorite games to the point that after my disk broke I got it again bc it was so good. I wish more people would talk about it, I would love there to be enough hype to make a remake or remaster

I played this game flawlessly on Normal the first time playing it. Not gonna lie, it felt good, it felt like I earned that. The second playthrough was pretty rough, still flawless for the most part. then I played as Sauron. those dumb Eagles oneshotted my ass.

My man Falcon can ya stop spreading misinformation Cause last time I checked both fan made projects for Conquest and BFME were still ongoing so just cause nobody is talking about them doesn't mean people are not working on them. L take once again my dude!

The first thing that pops into my head is Interplay's J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Vol. II: The Two Towers from 92. It's where I first heard about LOTR as a babby, and is the only LOTR game I've played that isn't Gollum.

I absolutely loved this game and played for days on end. This game is a true cult classic master piece and that is a hill I will always die on. It really never got the attention it deserves, and I would love a modern sequel.

War in the north, BFME 1&2, and The third Age are my favorite unsung Heroes. I still play a cracked version of BFME2. Also want to add LOTRO as an honorable mention that still holds up and has an active community!

I remember playing this all the time with my brother as a kid on the gamecube. We didnt even know what Lotr was but it was fun! Still dont even know the story. All i know is this game and the Lego Lotr.

Pandemic was the studio that did the mercenaries games. They were what happens when you do a Just Cause or Far Cry but instead made it fun. It is so sad that they died while the worse versions lived on.

I know this wasn't too popular in it's time, but I'm still going back and playing the campaigns a couple times a year. I'll always regret not downloading the Boromir DLC back in the day when I had the chance.

my cousin and i used to play this multiplayer ALL THE TIME before he went off on military deployment. when he came back we couldnt find the cd anywhere. i still have so many memories of this goated game

LOTR Conquest is surprisingly addicting. I had a lot of fun using Aragorn and Frodo. Plus the maps were beautiful. another underrated Tolkien game is The Hobbit 2003. Now that one is my favorite

I KNEW from the title what this was going to be about and they are ABSOLUTELY right. It was SOOO deeply saddening how few people even realized this was a thing. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job

I dont know who has all the rights. But i hope EA remasters the Two Towers and Return of the King games.
And someone should bring back this game like SW BF got brought back last year

Yes Lord of the rings conquest was my jam! It was the LotR version of OG Star Wars Battlefront. The evil campaign was an absolute blast. Still play this on my 360
