Sinking City had such a strong premise and start. Unfortunately by around half way through I was just trying to get through it. The investigation portion was my favorite aspect at the start, but once it set in how shallow it was, that just fizzled away and left really mediocre. well, almost everything else. Combat is not good. The story is OK. Exploration is OK. There's just really nothing great there.
It's a shame Sinking City 2 is stepping away from investigation rather than leaning hard into it and giving it some real depth, seeing as it's the only thing the first game really had going for it. They have a lot further to go to make the rest of the game great versus a great investigative aspect where they were already halfway there.

Not gonna lie, I am shocked that Konami games are actually some of the few games releasing as of late that aren't beating everyone upside the head with overly aggressive monetization schemes or ridiculous future road maps filled with cut content that originally stripped from the finished game only to be sold later to buyers.
Too bad they can't escape the day one patch nonsense, the one major problem all games have today that shouldn't even exist.
Games should not be allowed to be sold on the market at all if a day one patch is required because that is evidence that the game was not a finished product before it was sold.

16: 21 Ill takes too long to come out to feel comfortable and trustworthy. But it also takes long enough to build confidence.
I call it: Its real and its gona be mediocre. Took too long to blast off. If they released a year after anouncement, we would have a 'Can it run Crysis kinda situation. It could've done what Calisto Protocol failed to do. Bodyhorror, dismemberment, gore, brutal realism in next gen graphics and 4k. Meanwhile we got this niche fed for this gen. Theres no market anymore, nothing to draw people.

I don't play many horror games. I'm legit too scared most of the time/too immersed. I do play them, but I like to have a person next to me to copilot and kinda unimmerse me so I can play the game. I don't really get scared of many things, but these horror games get in my head, and I get real anxiety unless I have a person there. I like that. That's really cool that they make us feel those emotions. Normally the only emotion I have during other gaming is anger and rage.
ANYWAY, these all look really cool. Thanks.

Geez, the amount of quality games already as far surpassed my paycheck. Falcon you’re gonna have to do what I did and limit yourself to resident evil until the 18th and then Balls out on Crimson Desert. That’s what my plan is. I already called into work. And how nice is it to have something of that quality that it is: to work worthy. CD should keep me going into early summer. The unedited play through as I’ve seen I’ve done nothing but make me more excited.

How is game development still this active when hardware to run said games is basically financially out of reach for most consumers
Are devs relying on existing pc/console owners who meet spec requirements to purchase the games, because nobody is upgrading a rig today to meet recommended specs for a new title.
By NOT developing games with less demanding requirements you are limiting potential sales across the board which is a really bad business model.

The new Paranormasight, The Mermaids Curse, is out now. I think it's a bit less horror focused than the first but I've not played it yet so I can't say how scary or not.
Regardless the original The Seven Mysteries of Honjo was a great visual novel/puzzle horror game and I can't wait to try out the new one. It's really worth checking out the first one too

I’m sorry what Wild take on Dead by Daylight, my guy the game is still holding strong numbers for the genre. 24 hr peak of 48. 6k and currently 33k players online now (Steam) I don’t think that’s anything to scoff at. And believe me, as someone who plays this game daily and hates myself for it lol and wishes the game would die it’s most definitely not.

My best friend has a self published indie game coming out this year called Yum-Yum's Delight and it's a story about incest where a man gets butt-ed in a psychiatric institution. Yes, there's some rers and ings, but it's an adults only game designed for hardcore who wanna see a 600 pound man rise up naked from his overalls like a phoenix.

Not defending Mizkif, he's a scumbag regardless if his actions were actually assault or not. But I have trouble expressing my emotions too even when really really sad, sometimes feeling like some of my emotions are very muted. So perhaps he wasn't trying to force it but is just unable to express properly how he feels.

My FAVORITE part of the Silent Hill's New Protag Is Black excitement is the collective disbelief from the Black community that a Black person would ever find themselves in a horror situation in the first place because we would simply just not be in Silent Hill. First sign of fog Nope. Roll credits.

Valor Mortis has nothing to do with a medieval setting, since it is clearly inspired by the Napoleonic era; I mean, look at the signs in French, the uniforms etc.
Falcon, my boy, something tells me that back in school you weren't the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to History, am I right

You’d be surprised at how many of your viewers play Dead by Daylight, currently. It has a very large and active player base, and new players are constantly being ushered in with the licensed chapters.
I get it’s not a game that Jake or Falcon enjoy, but that statement was a huge stretch.

0: 40 well I think the Scotts hate them. I know at least one who takes offense over that game. I mean F had such WEIRD messaging. I don't claim to understand but to me it gave off HEAVY anti-marriage messaging. Can't wait to see the anti-colonialism messaging in Townfell once he moved in

How bout just not making this video until at least halfway thru the year. ur just saying u think these games are gonna be good, its March, statistically most of this list is probably gon flop or not be released, so really like whyyyy, this doesn't make sense

Me to Capcom; you will eventually have horror in your survival horror game, yea
The absolute glazing going on for re9 is absurd. If others can keep acting like re9 is a masterpiece I can keep acting like Capcom aren't fans of survival horror.

Anyone help me out please, upgrading Leon's sights it's giving me a first person view this video says you can turn it off but it's not a option in my settings is there a reason why I'm playing offline do I need to update the Game or complete it

I’m skeptical of Cthulhu, and will be waiting for reviews and Before You Buy. I was excited and had this on my Wishlist for a long time. But the most recent gameplay showcase had me concerned. It did not look scary or eerie one bit.

RE9 was number 1 who I would’ve thought that the most popular horror game of all time was number 1. This list is terrible most of these games are survival games, not even horror. Yall really had to lay the bills with this one huh.

You really need to research the games you're going to cover in these videos. Saying you don't know if you'll face enemies in the new Silent Hill and that maybe it's a ghost hunting game shows how little effort you've put in.
