Tbh I like Abby and the more we learn about her the more I understand what she did. Like I wish she hadn't obviously but from her perspective Joel was the most evil person she'd ever met, not to mention her role as a firefly makes me think of that time Ellie said she would have become another firefly soldier if she hadn't left her qz. She seems so clearly to be another Ellie in this world, right down to her father being murdered by a stranger when she was a kid. And given all the horrible things Joel and Ellie (but especially Joel) have done, I think that to say you hate her but love them would be hypocritical.

Are we supposed to sympathize with this loser (Abby? What she did is inexcusable. What her dad was going to do was just as bad. -Save millions-. give me a break. There was never any guarantee of that, and even so, what right do you have to kill a child? Naughty Dog forcing us to play as Abby is so dumb.

I think I-d have more sympathy for Abby if Joel killed her dad for a reason. Like, Abby-s dad was just in the wrong place at the wrong time (plus in the first game he pulled out a knife. Joel didn-t kill the other nurses cuz they didn-t try to stop him, you know?
