Then he finds the book, realizing he could've mistakened his mom trying to kill him just 'for being him'. He would probably have intense emotions like regret. nope he winges and gets pissed, acting like a toddler. And at the market area, you had a choice to either choose Tyler's version of the memory or Alyson's version. I went with my gut going by the game's heavy LGBT+ leaning and went with Alyson's version and he got all pissy going -I wish you should trust me more! - You know after I found out about the conversion therapy, I screamed -SEE TYLER? I TOLD YOUR ASS AND YOU WANTED TO GET PISSY-
I stopped playing after a while and I truly hope that if I go back to play it again, that Tyler won't be wingey in the rest of the chapters, but if he is. oh boy this will be torture.

An hour in, and I can already heavily relate to this story. The line specifically: -you'll always be my little girl. -
Its a childhood that's horribly bittersweet and confusing. Though good memories fill a household like this one, the negative will always filter through like mold; growing and spreading until you choose to come to terms with it-- even then, in some way, you never really label a childhood like this as abusive. Emotional abuse is so much more complicated than physical; but both forms are equally as frowned upon.
And, to those shitting on this game; it wasn't made for you, plain and simple. Move on and play smth else instead of indulging hours of your time to berate people that actually enjoy it. Basic human respect.

Thank you so much for this, I really wanted to buy this to play it but can't because I'm a Playstation player and its Xbox only. I didn't even hear about it due to the exclusivity. The only reason I was able to find out about this game was because I was looking for main character rep for trans guys (which im so happy this exists, specially in a game by a more mainstream and talented like DONTNOD, and for a gameplay story driven genre style I just so happen to like as well. I'm really excited to at least have the chance to watch this even if I can't play it. Love for all my transmasc & trans guy brothers siblings & niblings!

I only played the game for the story nothing else really and I have to say that it was well done for the most part although the ending still leaves me questioning if Tyler's Memory was real or if Tom's Memory was real. I picked Tom's memory over Tyler's because Mary-Ann loved both of her children dearly even if it didn't seem like it at times not to mention the book, they found in her room about the guide to transitioning.
