People saying the ending seemed corny, changed a bit. Maybe, as someone who hasn't really seen the original, but has played through 2 & 3, I find this the most enjoyable. It seems like a more traditional tale and for some reason I liked Tommy more as a character. Overall I thought this was an amazing story. The ending was more in character for the type of person the remake seemed to make Tommy out to be, and overall I enjoyed watching this quite a lot. Thank you MK for that extremely quick upload.

Really enjoyed the remake of this game, it made characters look more alive and realistic, it also made Sam more close to Tommy and Paulie as in the original you barely do any jobs with him, and also show Tommy and Sarah's life a little more. The way the made this game and with the added touches over the old one was beautiful. I really hope other developers would look into remaking some of their older games too, there are many old games that really deserve the treatement Mafia and Resident evil got.

The mafia reminds me a lot of red dead redemption two, you can see the rapid decline of the Salieri gang as the story goes on not only in money but loyalty, Sam is Micha, Pauli is Arthur, Salieri is Dutch, and Tommy is John. At the end of both games there torn apart by what they think is loyalty. You could be best friends with someone for 30+ years and they would still put two in your skull if it benefits them or the gang

Another pointless cashgrab remake, just like everything these days. When you don't know how to make a better story, maybe stick to the original. Half of the characters out of character, pointless 'trendy' changes for virtue points. I could go on, but I won't. Lamer than the gta ripoff sociopathic third one, which should tell you something.

I like they put more length into the final parts. It gives me chills. Also I'm glad they gave more chance on Sarah's appearance.
Not gonna lie man, I played the original game 2 years ago and I loved it. This is also great. Nothing has to be like the original, glad they put up more stuff into this.

the last words were better in the original. - its important to have a balance coz people who want too much, risk loosing absolutely everything. those who want too little, might not get anything at all-. plus the ending track -Where do gangsters go- was also better

That was awesome dude! My first Mafia game was the 3rd one but after that I decided to check'em all out. I gotta say, it's a masterpiece of a series.

Can't believe you didn't play all the amazing side missions. And Im thinking why is the game so short lol I remember took me 2 weeks to finish the original Mafia cuz I was completing the side missions with cars, and I remember one mission in Chinatown too.

Near the end of Mafia 2 u actually encountered this mission and you kill yourself (tommy from mafia 1) while playing as the main character in mafia 2, I just beat the game and love the extended cut! It gave me shivers when I seen this final scene lol

I guess it all came full circle at the end, Tommy dying was sad but he joined the mob, did jobs for them, started to see the reality, made mistakes, made up for it, he did his time, walked his daughter down the aisle and met his demise.

The scenes are good but I'd personally loved to see his original monologue in the ending. That was emotional.
