MAFIA DEFINITIVE EDITION Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 FULL GAME - No Commentary (Mafia 1 Remake) joni: Good story. I think that Salieri didn't act according to the code of honor, which he was supposed to respect. He owed his life to Tommy Angelo, and the least he could do was talk to him, instead of immediately coming after Paulie and him, the way he did. At first, while playing the -death to art- level, I thought that Sam had betrayed them, that he was acting on his own, that Salieri didn't knew about it. Later I learned that Salieri did know. But, Salieri showed little gratitude or generosity towards Tommy, who saved his ass at Pepe's restaurant, who won the race for him, and who earned so much money for him.

This is a MASSIVE improvement over the original on all fronts. except for SOME of the voice acting. While I think the voices fit the characters better than the original game. man some of these voices ended up really taking me out of it. Tommy I didn't mind, though I prefered Michael Sorvino's more Nolan North esque voice. Despite Paulie coming off less of a Joe Pesci clone in this one, I still think i preferred William De Meo.

I dunno, the story still annoys me. Tommy could've just gone after Salieri and killed him to make his future life easier. He had already gone through overwhelming odds and made it but drew the line at going after his former boss? Seems like a plot hole to me, especially given that by that time most of the syndicate's top hitmen were out of the picture. Sad endings are fine and all but not when they feel forced like this.

The moment Tommy said -No one's carrying you to the doctor this time, Sam- and -It's getting easier every time you open your f---ing mouth-, Tommy was dropping hints that he had already decided he was gonna finish Sam off during the museum shootout. Sam just didn't read between the lines due to being so brash and arrogant thinking Tommy didn't have it in him. When Sam told the story to test him, he sure found out.

I've actually spoke to people who were alive back in the time Mafia is set in, Many of them are old timers but they remember the Depression and then World War II which times were pretty shit if you financially screwed and lots of dudes were trying to make the best of times despite hardships in place

I was playing this on a GTX 1660 last year, and it looked so good at 1440p, but it would dip well under 60fps in many instances. I decided to wait until I got a 3080, and wow, this game looks incredible in 4k! I just finished the game and I have to say it's one of the best storyline I've ever played.

OMG - Stops to laugh - -
At the end when Tom shoots Sam so he gets hurt, sorry but it looks like Sam has a stomach ache and walks away. -
Bad acting too. The original Mafia from 2000 is much better made, and better acting also. R. I. P original Mafia, will be missed.

I love the story line of Mafia 1, now time to watch Mafia 2. It-s crazy because the two people that were sent to kill Tommy Angelo were the main characters of Mafia 2 and it directly plays upon the second game.

One thing I (kind of ironically) like about the original game was that the music would always loop the same way every time you get to the part at 1: 10: 00, almost kind of killing the mood.

Mafia 1 and 2 are some what connected the guy who killed the old man is the main character in mafia 2 sheesh first time i seen 2 games connected to each other to this degree

You can see it in his Face that he has Accepted his Fate. Once you Pulled Trigger on Someone, You'll know that you'll end the same way like poor bastard you did it with.

Bro just go to the missions, it really does get alittle bit annoying when you just walk around trying to listen to others NPC-s stories or what they gotta say

What happened to Tommy, Paulie and Sammy broke my heart when I played the game for the first time and reminded me a lot of Sleeping Dog's.

Okay but he-s acting like $. 50 in the 1930-s isn-t a lot. That-s like a whole meal at a diner w an appetizer and desert

The only thing that bothers me from this game is that EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER exhales through their nose when speaking

What an amazing era in time. Would be incredible to actually go back in time and experience it firsthand.
