HALO INFINITE ENDING Gameplay Walkthrough Part 9 Campaign [4K 60FPS PC] - No Commentary (FULL GAME) Nightfall: I really liked the story overall, but I really wanna know what happened to other characters like blue team, Palmer, Lasky, as by the audio logs it is implied that most of them are alive at least, so hopefully they release some story DLC for the game, another thing I think would've been really neat was to have them run into the spirit of fire or at least have them referenced since Atriox lost a good deal of his forces to them and obviously would've taken note of them, so that would've been a nice bit of dialogue to have, the combat is actually pretty satisfying imo, but I prefer the more rugged/metal look of the vehicles/weapons in the older games then these models just looking super smooth, but the main downer for me are the sounds, to me they just don't have that -oomph- or bang to them like in the older halo games, overall-not too bad to me, it is something I would very probably play

I just finished watching the walkthrough on December 11, 2021, at 1: 51 PM, HST. Great game. Definitely impressed with what 343 has done with Halo Infinite. Although it's not perfect, such as questionable character interactions, and choices. There's Atriox deciding to stay hidden, despite being alive. There's Cortana needing to sacrifice herself instead of obliterating Atriox with ease with a Guardian, or even Cortana dying at all. And there's Master Chief not trying to make contact with the larger remnants of the UNSC on the Halo Ring. Also, some extent of repetitiveness with reclaiming Forward Operating Bases. However, when it comes to being a follow up to Halo 5, it did a very good job of doing so. Hopefully 343 keeps up the good work with Halo Infinite once its updates begin releasing, because there is great promise in Halo Infinite's story.

Not a fan of how bare bones it is, like where's the stuff that's actually happening? It feels like a prologue, like the first few chapters of a much larger campaign. What are the endless? Why did the UNSC Infinity just lose? Where did the Banished get so many ships? What exactly -is- the Harbinger? How was Cortana losing to Atriox when she could easily smite him with a Guardian, or even a few sentinels? -This ring is different- okay how; expand on what you mean by different. Where are the flood? Where is the Didact; we know he's composed so he's still around -somewhere-
This game is -not- as self-contained as Combat Evolved, so it should offer insight into at least a few of the questions.

Everything that goes after Halo: Reach are fanfiction from 343 studios. -
Campgain review: -
I just ended -Infinite-, and my opinion: This is better than Halo 5. But still, nowhere near original Halo games. They tried to copy original games, but it worked pretty unsatisfactory and generic. What was the point to make Cortana evil and give us her mediocre copy? -
343 realized that old enemies is way better than -messy- new (like in Halo 4 and 5. And that is good. -
Don't even sure 343 could make a great Halo game like Bungie did. -
But -Infinite- is a progress. Halo 5 was a disaster. And -Infinite- is average. -
Hope someday 343 will be able to make a good Halo game.

Glad that Atriox is alive tbh. Guy gets built up to be the new big bad but gets killed off screen leaving Chief to fight some B lister that seems to be dying of old age/poor health didn't really sit well with me. I mean come on, the guy built the Banished from next to nothing, became the Covenant's #1 pain in the ass, and was throwing Chief around like a rag doll at the start of the game. Give Atriox a proper climax.
On a side note, I've seen theories that Atriox was in hiding during much of the story but I wonder if he was sent forward in time by Cortana. Chief and Cortana 2. 0 were sent 3 day forward so maybe the Ring spat him out 6 months after that incident?

Thank you for the awesome playthrough.
As for the game. in short, I think the story is ok. The continuation of Master Chief and Cortana was done well, but I found the gameplay - lacking. Sure, the gunplay and combat are top notch, but the second part of the game are still just a boring repetitive tunnel crawl as with all the rest Halo games. And the potential was fantastic. not sure. Just for the campaign I'd give this 6. 5/10
Still, I'll get the game and play it, but not for a full price.

meh. it feels a little too. disney.
guess this is halo now, it feels kinda like if doom eternal was made by fortnite. it is good, but thats all i have to say, is not halo 3 level good, its more like halo CE, is its own begining, a bit cramped, a bit full of shit, a bit full of hope. cant say much more
hope the next games are good for everyone else, but for me this feels like its a star trek meets mass effect

Honestly not very impressed with the open world idea for Halo Infinite, not a lot of reward for it. Just driving around killing stuff to find upgrades and minor bits of lore. The main pieces of dialogue either being Weapon, the Pelican pilot, or the Audio Logs is a bit dull.
Open World Halo could be a good idea, but H. I. had nothing in it to convince me of that.
Still better than CoD or BF though.

Absolutely amazing.
Bar none, one of the top two halo games of all time. I like the new areas that are explored. I like echo 261. He is good comic relief for the series age. Thank you for playing this all the way through. It has been an extremely enjoyable series. I watched every episode back to back. So I made an extremely long movie of it lo. Long live Master Chief!

Campaign pros:
- Great Gunplay
- Great versatility
- Good graphics
- Good level design
Campaign cons:
- Empty story, lacks impactful events or side characters
- Repetitive level aesthetics
- Piss-poor excuse of -ending-
Overall, 7/10. This game feels like a 1 hour prologue to a much bigger game, but stretched into 15 hours and became a full one.

reply

ugh, the story was disappointing and it felt shorter than previous halo games too. guess well have to wait another 2 - 3 years for the next game.
edit: thanks for your work MKIceAndFire- doing this and putting it together. always look forward to your no-commentary play throughs

reply

Thanks for streaming it so I did not have to play it.
Halo is officially dead now I guess. Man Halo 6 has a trash story line. Introduce many characters in Halo 5, just for everyone to be gone by the next game? Yeah, will pass on the next Halo's for sure.

Generic AAA open world side quests and progression mechanics, smaller levels crammed into the open world portion, mostly just inside Forerunner structures, and fewer enemy, weapon, and vehicle types than any other Halo. Awesome job, 343.
reply

The whole story feels like a prologue. Like halo 4 and 5 they set up something big with a cliffhanger and forgot about it the next game. I hope the future dlc is free and continue the story. Give it a proper ending 343.
reply

Can anyone explain why Cortana, despite commanding the forerunner weapons and technology needed to sacrifice herself? She could have terminated Atriox with ease.
Plots and scripts are not logically aligned

reply

Well, this seems they redeemed every mistake in halo 4 and 5, giving us an awesome final, a new beginning with atriox and the endless, and giving us a close to the whole -Cortana revolution- stuff
reply

Overall this game was pretty good, but 343 STILL hasn't learned how to tell a cohesive story, and keep leaving what sound like big plot points unexplained, which, of course, leads to plot holes.
reply

ok guys hear me out, weapon's name is probably going to be 'infinite' right? I mean this time she wont just disappear like the old cortana, shes going to stay with chief for infinity.
reply

I think this brough halo back to where it was after halo 4. Nice game, but the plot really seems to be someone elses story that you're constantly catching up on but not like ODST.
reply

Thx mate for this recording!
As I hate Halo's gameplay, I love it's lore, so You allow me to discover those Chef's adventures.
Thx once again!

reply

Anyone want to bet that the -Endless- is the flood?
Like I said to myself -if we ain't getting the flood in here then we getting them in a part 2 of halo

reply

It rook me back to Halo 3 when i was a child and dind-t understand The concept, but damn it took me right back playing on The Xbox 360 with my friends.
reply

Hope we get a DLC Master Chief meeting the Spirit of Fire (cross paths with UNSC in Halo Wars Franchise) mainly meeting Spartan Jerome from Red Team.
reply

Yoo pretty cool campaign hope we get a DLC like awekening the nightmare but so far game looks pretty neat thanks for the walktrough absolute legend
reply

I'm of two minds first I love the look and the story but I don't quite like the open world format some games work with it halo isn't one of them
reply

It-s too late to tell you but to kill a hunter you need to shoot him in the back, neck or anything that is open from armour and not in the head
reply

I was really hoping there was going to be some logical reason as to how they lost so easily. But nope the infinity go dominated just because.
reply

so is this the last run of halo? will there be a new one since the ending has a villian though. Is the old cortana really gone?
reply

Meh, this Halo game sucks, ever since they ditched Bungie the story suck balls, even gameplay, just reloop of same shit.
reply

This is another really bad campaign. 343 have really made a terrible trilogy. I don't know which of the campaigns is worst.
