Post balance patch extreme difficulty is realistic enough that the player can not survive a few shots from any robot's plasma weapon but that's not true for allies. Allies are -essential- in this game which basically means they can -sponge- all the bullets/plasma from a dual wielding T-825v with violet plasma/ a T-600 with a massive minigun or even missile swarms from T-47 or HK Aerial without getting killed or getting incapacitated untill their -plot armor- expires ( scripted deathes.
Even the plasma bolt/bullet clearly hits the head, human allies act like nothing ever happened, they don't even flinch from the shot!
Both metro escapes in the main game and the annihilation line are the worst cases of this -plot armor-. During the time of the story humans only have red plasma weapons, as such it takes a long time to kill a terminator.
So the scene is: Baron/Reese ( and whoever resistance NPCs with them ) exchange fire with T-800s for a long time until the humans terminate every terminators with -plot armor-.
Same goes for four humans run through a fire squad of T-600s with miniguns without causality.
Guess Rivers' allies are actually all infiltrators.
Edit: this reminds me that the decade old -salvation- game is the same with essential allies. Player's allies get shot and nothing will happen, they sponge all the bullets until in the certain point of the game someone dies to a single bullet from a spider bot.

This game is so much fun, bought it the day it came out, I had no idea they came out with a DLC for it, heard that they weren't even going to make DLC's for this game, glad they did though, there's so much potential for this game to be honest

All the latest games look downgraded! It's like the technology is reversing! 2010's Alan Wake and 2007's GTA IV look more awesome than this and game's physics is top notch too! Today all they focus on making money!

Probably other developers make new Terminator games in near future
If there is ever gonna be next T7 movie, it should have this type of 2029 future war

Lol, at 5: 35: 49 Rivers is talking about how SkyNet is going to show up in force, once they lower the barrier. As soon as MK finishes hacking the barrier, his controller immediately disconnects.

9: 11: 00 I'd say they re created that scene from the first movie alright. IIRC, and it's been years, it was a truck with a minigun they ran from the HK in, not a car.

Game looks fun but, it looks like the game was forced out didn't have that feeling to it. It felt more like a Xbox 360 or PS3 game tbh but that's just my opinion.
