It's comforting to know that Joel knew that's what she would want. It alleviates the pains the player experiences over Joel's death. If you're a fan of great stories and if you're not biased you should understand why Joel died. Therefore, you wouldn't hate part 2 so much. Obviously the torturing wasn't needed however, it wouldn't be such a great story if they didn't ignore your feelings. So, if we're being honest with ourselves Joel is a bit selfish because we all know he was trying to make up for the loss of his daughter while ignoring the greater good. And killing Marlene was unforgivable.

After I see this again, I realize what an asshole Joel is and deserved his death at the beginning of Ep 2. He bullies his brother, Henry and Sam, and his first instinct is to point a gun at someone.
The reason why I think the ending is so good, and Joel was justified in killing them all, was that they took away her choice. She nearly drowned and they never let her regain consciousness. If she was asked, she would have probably chosen to do the surgery. But they took that choice away from her.

When I first saw David I thought he wasn't a villain but man was I wrong. David by far is worst than the clickers or zombies in this game realistically speaking kind of reminds me of the terminans in TWD. Ellie was likable. But in the 2nd game she was something else man. Wasn't the Ellie I knew in the 1st game. Didn't like her character there.

So like, with Ellie being infected and all, if she bit some one, I mean really drew blood and tore flesh could she infect them?
Also how scary is that, having random arrows flying around in a blizzard killing everyone around you.

Naughty Dog didn't really have to make these baddies cannibals. There are other ways to make them evil. I don't think Hobo will include cannibals in their movie. Its too gross even for cable TV.

When Naughty Dog makes the Last of US part 3, years from now, they should make the entire game in UNREAL ENGINE 5 Graphics. That would be so COOL.
