Hm i dont mean to hate, or discredit the work they put in this game. but am i the only one that thinks > this is by faaaaaaaaar the worst Final Fantasy Game i have ever seen?

The only critique I have so far is it's too easy, I'll hold my judgement till I finish the let's play, but if the difficulty curve doesn't start -curving- soon that's pretty disappointing. Yes being overpowered and stun locking enemies non-stop is fun sometimes, but if it's like that for every encounter pretty much that's kinda' boring ya know? As I understand it this game has a dynamic difficulty so I'm hoping it'll start adjusting for your above average skill level soon, I understand you cut out of the video when you lose fights, but everytime you've won you've won by a mile, ya know?

What the hell is even this? MMORPG played in single player mode? Their whole animation, and art departments have been disbanded? Every single NPC is awful looking like run of the mill quest giver in some MMRPG. Every FF game had some unique art direction this? This looks made from assets yet again MMORPG. Hell even main character looks like something out of character creator in MMORPG. What the hell is this turning in quest where you check item before handing it over, like daily quest giver with multiple quests. I could go on for ages. It's 2023 not 2010.

Cid is by far my favorite FF character. It's like someone snatched him straight out of the Witcher with how well rounded and charming a character he is. The writing in general is so good in this game and they even made the emo protagonist likeable because he's depressed for good reasons and he wants to be happy and make friends. He warmed up to Gav sooo fast he clearly was very lonely and wanted to make fast family and it shows great writing skill by showing that rather than telling it

In FF15 you can break certain parts of an enemy which is great combat performance but FF16 this is how just lamest linear repetitive combat also the side quest rewards lmao too ungenerous
