Played the prologue, atmosphere and graphics was on point, even reminded me of the original Derceto. What has me worried is -completely original story- and the combat as seen in the Spotlight. If this has nothing to do with Lovecraft I will be disappointed. Positive that they want to stay true to the 1992 original, my favorite horror game of all time. I play it every summer. Prologue left me with a -this is gonna be good- vibe.

Huh, a prologue. Jeremy is dead in the original--his death is what brings Emily to the mansion--but there's a girl named Grace in Alone in the Dark 2 who's a kidnapping victim that brings Edward Carnby back. with a tommy gun. There's three games in the original trilogy; are they integrating all three together in the remake?

i don't remember Alone in the Dark being this interactive,
that's because it wasn't.
i just answered my own reply, but you get the point. the kid don't even look like a kid, it just looks like a very short person that's meant to be a kid.

People were complaining about crashes on series s. I played it on series x with no crashes but did come across a glitch where the screen flickers during gameplay if you set it to quality instead of performance

The grandfather of survival horror is back, with a HP Lovecraft vibe. I remember playing Alone In The Dark The New Nightmare back in the days, finished like 8 times. Then was that joke of reboot in 2008.

People are complaining about the lack of reaction of the kid, but I think thats the atmosphere they want to create. I saw the original and it had this fun/horror vibe. Its not a common horror game.

PS3 Alone in the Dark - An End for a Prelude soundtrack gave me chills while playing the game. It would be nice to hear it in this game too.

Seems a bit disappointed in terms of sound there are no directions it gets quieter or louder but it doesnt work with camera rotation
