Please pin my comment, this can save time for many people who face this issue.
The first thing you mustn't do is save/load your game before you pass this part of the game. I even didn't save the game the whole time till the cutscene at 49: 14.
The checkpoint you may verify if you are on the correct way is opening the portal by pressing 4 elements properly. (47: 00) In my case, I didn't switch them and the cut scene appeared, and -Eye of the Storm- was gained. Looks like in this the cutscene with Dahaka will not appear.
If you can get -Eye of the Storm- without pressing 4 elements, you may restart your game. As I mentioned above (it's not a matter of console or disc. It looks like a game issue.

it's crazy to think that in kindred blades, the dark prince would be the third timeline prince who is caught in the 5: 18: 30 moment, but who somehow survives and is trapped in the past and on the island, causing him to somehow become immortal for not being able to get out of there and thus corrupted like the other monsters, thus explaining why he would have gray skin and red eyes in addition to the island's symbol.
I like Two Thrones, but we have to admit that Kindred Blades would have been much better, I hope that in remakes of Prince of Persia Hubsoft has this potential too

Strange. To me this seems so long ago and yet still, i remember being jawstruck by how amazing the game play was in comparison to the games I'd grown up with. To me, games like JetSet Willy, Codename Mat and Penetrator are classics.
I'd love to play this again. I'm thinking i may fire up the ps3

Shame you had to mute the music when Dahaka chases the Prince. I remember how much hate this game endured because of the music and dark theme and I still don't know why. It fits so much the theme of the story and the situation the Prince is. Great game that I still play to this day: )

No man there is an alternate ending to this game which is unlocked when you have all the life upgrades, it gives you a water sword then you fight against Dahaka instead of Kaileena and in the end you travel back with Kaileena. That's the true ending.

I remember when my Mom bought my first pc for me when i was in grade 3. I got this game from a friend. LOl i even didn't knew how to wall run and tried 50 times and finally succeded. Played this game for 2/3 years continously. OLD MEMORIES: )

They changed the ESRB rating of this game to Mature (The first game was Teen, and my 14 years old self playing this game for the first time 18 years ago did see why. Some of the sections were really suffocating.

this game is murky and directionally vague and it 5 hours long? failed platforming and leaps of faith is what kills me more often I just got the 2nd sword. i feel this game is going to take 8 to 10 hours idk yet

I dont know why, but i never played Prince of persia by my own. I remember i was watching how my cousin was playing it. Many say live action movie sucked, but i really liked it. Shame that there's no sequels.
