thr original Frost as a character wasn't really going anywhere so the devs probably discarded the character of Frost in a sense and made him Hanzo.
so Hanzo is a cryomancer just like how Kuai Liang was Tundra/2nd Sub-Zero in the original timeline.
I really like this new idea.
Cassie Cage is also probably in this new timeline but not as Johnny Cage's daughter but as his sister or cousin.
Takeda Takahashi is a DLC character but he is definitely not Kenshi son because if the age.
Takeda might be a Black Dragon leader and villain. and probably a distant relativ of Kenshi, obviously.

I think its the fact that we still havent truly got a sense of the Bi-Han and Kuai Liiang's brotherhood and how theres never any hint of internal conflict within Bi-Han why this betrayal falls flat on its face. By the time we meet him he looks like he's already ready to turn evil. Treating everyone like shit. Even Smoke lol No build up, no struggle, no real internal desires outside lust for power. At least in MK9-10-and 11 there was always a lingering sense that Kuai Liiang had purpose to try ans save Bi-Han when he turned into Noob Saibot. But now I would be confused if Scorpion didnt straight up wrek Noob after he's resurrected lol

only because scorp is ed shit's favorite. even today in mk1 during the sub vs scorp fight scorp hits sub 10 times but sub 0. and sub turns out to be asshole and vanishes. also look at how many cool fight scenes scorp gets and what subzero get. if we talk since very beginning subzero came out in og storyline before scorp and was pretty popular since then shit boon stomping subzero in every chapter released till toda by displaying scorp as badass and subz as loser in every possible way

Originally Scorpion and Sub zero were gonna be brothers that were in the Lin Kuei but they would eventually hate eachother
Because 1 brother wanted to escape the clan
While the other brother overthrew it
Which clearly shows that original plot happening in this game

Harumi as a female scorpion sounds sick.
We all know how we hate Frost's character as a female counterpart of Sub Zero, She's like MK1 Bi han but female and cyberized. Scorpion has shown major character development throughout 3 consecutive games (MKX, MK11, & MK1) and Harumi has shown to be a strong female character in Scorpion and Smoke ending. So I'm gonna happily take it when they release Harumi Scorpion.

The Dragon Army makes little sense. There's evidently a Shinnok's amulet carving in an Earthrealm's chinese emperor's tomb. Why? It's stated later Shinnok never existed in Liu's timeline and neither did his amulet.
If Onaga is mentioned in Reiko's ending, why not simply make it his Undefeatable Army?

Hanzo Hasahi will always be THE scorpion, but Kuai Liang manages to fill that role well.
But if Kuai Liang is Scorpion and found the Shirai Ryu clan in this universe, is there still a possible chance that Hanzo Hasashi exist and he takes the mantle of sub zero because that would be wild.

God, it's so disappointing that after all the changes that happened, Bi-Han became more evil than he was in either timelines. Especially since nearly all the villains changed for the better but Bi-Han is just a villain now. Somehow, he's even worse than he ever was.

So this got me thinking. Bi-Han is alive, and is about to pretty much corrupt the Lin Kuei. His interests now definitely align with everything Frost embodies in the past timelines. I am eager to see this Cryomancer duo in action in MK13.

I'll always love classic the Sub-Zero and Scorpion rivalry, MK1 is definitely my favorite. The dynamic is so much more interesting wirh them being brothers. The writers outdid themselves with this game's storymode.

There should have had a skin for Scorpion and Smoke called -Former Lin Kuei-, where there are no more badges showing the Lin Kuei symbol in both of them anymore due to their alignment to the Shirai Ryu.
