what he says about not being able to follow a film without audio is absolute nonsense. Telling a story with images is not only filmmaking 101, but the whole point of cinema. It's a visual storytelling medium, and If a film has to rely on tons of exposition to get its main points across, that's a sign of poor filmmaking.

I agree with TVEProuctions' comment: noise comes from high ISO (which you're probably using because there's not enough light in your shot) You either need to add more light, or use a lens that lets more light in.

Griffen i just Got a canon 600D and when i'm filming it looks good on the camera screen but when i put it into the computer there is just alot of noise do you have a good tip to reduce noiseon DSLR's?

Can't wait to see the behind the scenes and the music video. The title of this video grabbed me because I'm soon going to be doing my first paid video. Nothing so awesome as Chris's stuff though.

Your ISO is probably too high. You can't see it on the LCD screen cause it's too small too notice, but if you watch the footage on a bigger screen, you can obviously see the noise. So lower your ISO.

if you want to earn paid video gigs there is only one thing you need. good directors reel. make some personal projects and put best parts together.
reply

Except for music videos, which are made to promote the music, audio is to support what you see, that's why its called video and film.
reply

Thanks I didn't know that. Also you helped me alot in film making and I don't know where I would be now if you didn't make videos.
reply

I'm not saying dialogue is not important, but saying that the picture is just there to support the sound is ridiculous.

A lot better than the guy from last month. No offense to him at all, but this guy has some great knowledge!
reply

He has some BTS, but it isn't interview like this. These interviews help to get to know their insights better.

I think he's my favorite so far! Awesome! PS: The playlist with his videos is private, so we can't access it

I remember this guy from Rhett and Link! I didn't realize he is a videographer. Wow, he seems really cool!
