Griffin, we have a gimble mounted on our DJI phantom and we've been able to get rid of almost all shake and stutter from our footage. It's a bit of a process to install, but it works like a charm! I feel the one that is mounted built in on the DJI would end up having more shake.

For those bemoaning the useless UV Filter; it does have a purpose. When shooting without a UV filter one will see a slight blue tint in shadows. Think mountain range shots. A UV filter will cut/eliminate that hue to a more natural range.

This mounting system requires reversing the filter(screw in, screw on, thread outside instead of inside) For CPL filter it is not a good idea. 40$ for. nothing, just how to earn on GoPro rush.

Couldn't you just add Motion Blur in post instead of an ND filter? I usually don't like to rely on post production for things like this but is it a significant difference? Any one know?

Definitely, a gimbal on a multicopter is the way to go. Many people have criticized the new DJI Phantom 2 for not including a much-wanted gimbal.
