I think this was actually really important for Spicer to be on here - he was a guy trying to do his job in a difficult situation. I wish the President had run things by him because I think what he's saying is true & worth listening to. Maybe if the President had let Spicer do his job, we would be more willing to listen & consider things.

Yes, some members of the press do lie and put out fake news. The didn't stand in front of the US citizens and swore to abide and protect the constitution. He speaks about two wrongs there may both exist. One of them is questionable the other unacceptable

Ultimately I think Spicer can't be honest because he's afraid that Trump will bash him like HIllary for the next 4 years if he dares tell the whole truth. Either that of Spicer is just completely gullible and taken in by Trump.
