he said you can tell a true martial artist from the stretching, but that is only for the showy martial arts, like karate and teakwondo. contact fighting like judo, brazillian jiu jitsu, kickboxung, mma, wresting. they all dont stretch, but they can definetely be some serious fighters. each of those sports would pound a teakwondo practicer into the floor

Honestly, he did the whole becoming an actor thing right. He got his college degree first, had a career as an accountant and was probably able to save up some money, then took the chance to pursue his dream and make it in Hollywood. If it hadn't worked out for him he still would have had an education and career to fall back on. Very smart!

First thing I thought when I saw the bus scene, was these guys love Jackie Chan, and it turns out that this was an homage and some of his team worked on the film. If you haven't, watch The Big Brawl. Jackie has a much cooler training dummy that Shang-Chi did.

I want to watch this movie so badly. But damn my exams are just 9 days away and am keeping everything Marvel is releasing for watching after the exams when I have a lot of free time. But OMG that Bus scene is soo sick Can't wait babiiieee

For everyone talking about him being humble. You got to listen to his story in this podcast with Anna Faris. It was so great to know where he comes from. Really down to earth guy. Respect.

It really is a good movie too. Great job, Brad Allan (Jackie Chan stunt team) on the action sequences! Simu is awesome at action and also hilarious in the role.

Simu Liu in Kim's Convenience (comedic Canadian series) is so fantastic. I have loved him in that show for years. I'm sure he will be great in this too!
