Fernanda Torres is wonderful. A talent that Brazilians already know and that the world will fall in love with not only because of her talent, but also because of her charisma and sense of humor. She has a list of works in film, television and theater that are worth seeing. Hollywood needs this woman. If the Oscars heed the public's clamor and give a chance to the art and talent of a top-notch professional, Fernanda will win the statuette. Cinema has everything to gain from Fernanda Torres. I hope they are visionaries and don't lose sight of this woman.

Not to be the overpolitical guy, but here in Brasil half of the people are saying this is a left wing movie. Really sad to see that, for many, even talking about the most extreme you can get in the right wing means that you're the exact opposite. The musicians that were exiled in the dictatorship and later received a pension as a compensation are hated by them. We're living in dark times. But at least voices like hers and the Paiva's are still being heard and to see her getting an award for that part shows that not everything is corrupted yet

This woman made me and my mom watch together a tv sitcom called os normais about s3x and relationships when I was still a virgin. Now she is teaching me even more about acting, humor, politics. I dare to say that because of os normais I decided to work on tv (behind the scenes, to study tv and to become a professor in a public university here in Brazil o teach people what I leard about media and to brave enough to share my point of view about how I understand pop culture. Thank YOU Fernanda. I wish I can say this in front of her someday.

While the extreme right is rooting against Fernanda Torres, Brazilians who are for democracy want her to fly as high as she can and boast the name of her country and the history of pain and blood that the ill-intentioned Brazilian tries to hide from future generations! We love Fernanda Torres!

Brazil are so proud of her. she said her mother is a big star in Brazil, but she also is a big star here, and we love her. If you guys want to laugh a lot with her you should watch: os normais and Entre tapas e beijos. She is stunning and amazing there too, as always.

Brazilians, touchy as we are, and Jimmy refusing to take her hand seconds after she was seated. I already had physical contact with you in this interaction. Take your hand alway.

For those who don’t know her: besides being excellent at drama she’s an outstanding actress in comedy; and that talent of hers you can see in this interview.

As a Brazilian I feel ashamed that we perceive Hollywood's approval as a form of success while literally Hollywood is on the brink of decline.

Just came back from the theaters with my girlfriend and she was EXCELLENT. Sadly I don't think the Academy will give her the award.

I’m from Minnesota and I absolutely love this woman! She deserves a fighting chance at an Oscar for I’m Still Here.
