The regular Fire and Ice is pretty rad and already contained plenty of wintry environments. But all you need is a Santa hat, a sweet beard and some catchy tunes and you've got a Christmas special edition, like this one from the 20th cover disk of Amiga Power! Merry Christmas 2010!

As great as Fire and Ice is, there's one thing about the game that's baffled me for a while. Specifically, that after all these years, no one's uploaded a longplay in which all three of these phenomena occur:
1. No puppies are killed, either by lightning strike or falling into a pit (and while I understand that some people are annoyed by them, I wouldn't let those things happen on purpose);
2. No puppies are left behind (and let's face it; the extra lives do come in handy); and
3. No levels are skipped altogether by way of the hidden warps. :-/
Of course, if the perfect longplay of Fire and Ice does exist, I'd be happy to see it. :-)

The christmas crowns are a piece of headwear found in Christmas Crackers which contained a random small plastic toy or paperclip (usually junk) to whoever won the pull, but they ALWAYS contained a crown made of very thin paper. They break super easily and whilst it has become a british tradition, i cannot find where this traditino began. Thats corperate interferance for you.

I emulated this game on WinUAE about 2 years ago, and it is INCREDIBLE! It's one of the best platformers ever developed; right up there with the best Mario and Sonic games, IMO! This also came out on the Amiga CD32, which is a system I plan on getting after I buy a multi-system CRT (-tube-) TV.

Bill's Tomato Game. best Christmas present ever! Cool/Yule Coyote really looks great, the music is rockin'. this is a fun little variation on the game! But I have to be honest, I'm half-asleep right now and I'm totally fixated on what Bill's Tomato Game could be. lol Anyway, Merry Christmas!

You need to pickup Bills Tomato game, its a super fun puzzle game were you have to use various tools (fans, etc) to get the tomato safely to the next level a bit like Lemmings. When you got the game new it same with a -free- gift a little packet of tomato sauce (ketchup)

Can u remember where that shop is or what it's called? -
I live in Berlin and am still looking for a retro gaming shop, mostly for NES/SNES/N64 stuff though. I thought ebay had killed them all off: )

The crowns on the penguins remind me of those silly paper crowns you'd get in christmas crackers. Christmas crackers doesn't seem to be a thing here in this state. Maybe only in the larger cities?

Hah! The level complete text had an ad for Uridium 2 - another excellent Graftgold game for the Amiga. Sequel to one of the more legendary C64 titles in my book: .

-PituDitu Indeed, Holiday Hare '94 was short, shorter than HH'95. I reviewed '95 last year, skipped '94 because it was so short and I played '95 tons more as a kid.
