Gameplay and commentary on NFK for PC, a hunting game featuring no actual hunting at all just a bunch of dull gameplay Onyx: It almost seems like I'm the only one who can get it working. It's an interesting game, though its system of momentum is a bit too loose, I feel, resulting in a number of times where you get annoyed because you fell in the game on a slope you wouldn't fall on in real life. The performance on my computer, which is a damn good one, is usually between 43 - 58 frames with light shafts set on low. The triangulation system is kind of cool, if not frustrating at times. So, yeah. :)

For 1999, this game was awesome and a fun change for all the hunting games that were coming out during that time period. And believe me, for those interested, there were ALOT of hunting games, some bad, some really bad and some good. And this one, had humor, cool cartoony real 3D graphics, voice overs, gore, what more could you ask for? Do me a favor and google some hunting games during the same era och stop being so hard on this game.

I planned on doing a video featuring it, but haven't been able to get to play it properly. It runs like complete garbage, which is just ridiculous for the system I have. Not to mention I have some major graphical and menu errors and it crashes to the desktop every few minutes. Until they fix the game, I won't be playing it. The idea behind it is incredibly interesting though and it seems like a fun game.

Have you heard of Speedboat Attack from 1997? That was made by Criterion Games as well, bur despite being a decent game, there was no option to use different paint jobs for your boats. And even worse the game tricks you into thinking there are 10 tracks when there's really only 5 (The other 5 are the same tracks reversed.

I get why this game made you angry, but I'm still glad you made this video. I didn't find anything enjoyable about the game per se, but it was interesting hearing your thoughts on it. Made me realize I find it almost offensive that someone used to charge money for something of this quality, even if it was back in 1999.

Glad I didn't spoil it as well then! :D
I remember this game, from many years back. I always kind of liked it, and likened it to a fairly amusing (thoughly limitedly so) mini-game. I also liked how you could alter the terrain with the grenades and such. That, and the overall goofyness/sillyness of it all. :)

Actually I played this game back in the day and it was fun to play in the upcoming 3D age of that time. Granted it was dull and repetitive at times but also a good timewaster between homework and sleep during your avarage monday. Ah, the endboss is a Tyrannosaur that is actually somewhat of a challange.

I remember playing this off a demo disc that came with Australia's PC Powerplay magazine. My mate and I managed to cheat and give ourselves more powerful weapons or unlock other crap, I believe by editing some text file in the games' root folder. The terrain deformation was really fun for it's time.

. this game is so bad. I only watched this until the end so I could listen to all your comments about how rubbish this is. I do like the simplistic graphics but this game is just awful! Does anyone actually like this game? And the minigun sounds like my old laptop while I am playing the sims 3

What. . Just, what? . -vat-? Of like bunny organs or what?
You mentioned this company had small-project groups. are you sure you didn't mean Vault-Tec and this is actually one of many different social experiments (-games-) with the goal of finding out who goes insane from playing them?
