Guys stop complaining about the cartoony ness of the game. I mean really how much realer can they make it? They already went up the charts with the sims 3 (after u learn how to make them look good) cause think about it. If they gave it a rpg anime style, people would say it looks too rpg-ish, if they gave it a mii style like the characters on the wii then people would say the ripped off Nintendo. No matter wat people r always gonna like or dis-like something, so the people who r hating on the graphics of the game should get over it. Just cause u leave alot of commets on the sims 2-ish graphics doesn't mean its gonna change.

I didn't like create a style. I'd rather have more options and logo shirt to choose from and be able to choose a separate jacket and top than be able to change the color of your shirt or make your shorts look like they are -wooden material-. Really there's no point in any wallpaper options either in buildmode cause you can just buy the cheapest and then again, paint it with -rock print-. Plus sims 4 is about keeping it simple fast fun and easily accessible so castyle would just slow the whole thing down.

Does anyone knows or can answer me what will be included in the Sims 4? I have all the expansion pack and world pack and stuff pack for the Sims 3. Therefore I don't want to spend $59. 99 or $79. 99 for the Sims 4 if it will not include some stuff you would expect it to have such as pets, maybe super natural power, travel, cars, etc. If not then is not worth buying I rather work a lot on my house without the easy tools and stay with my Sims 3 and all the expansion pack I already bought.

Since I haven't really played TS3, because I thought everything looked so bad from TS2, I don't know what's changing from that to this. But I have played a lot of TS2 and love it, when I have ALL the expansions, then it's great. So I guess I have a pretty high standard even though I've -missed- all the TS3 expansions and stuff.
Hopefully it's going to be a great game, and I'll probably buy it when it's been out a while so that I can get a better perspective on it. :)

I'm a general supporter of the Sims but here is my problem with this. They added a few you know. -Advancements- to the game, Most in tune with the Character Creation but i say so what? Now we will have to rebuy all the expansions yet again, SUCH AS seasons, night life etc. So basicly this will in turn end us having to spend about 300 dollars again just to have all the expansion packs? Am i the only one here concerned about this or am i wrong, What?

I think Sims 4 is for people with more artistic ambitions. Like, this gets extremely detailed, and that's just with creating the Sim. Also, it's probably more for people who want a variety of Sims and not the ones you see on 3. idk, I'll try sims 4 when it's out and the price gets reduced or something. I can't see myself getting pass create a sim though, it seems like that's take up most of everyone's time. Just don't knock it till you try it guys.

I like the look, I think it was a great way to keep the Sims out of the uncanny valley. Which, they were teetering on the edge of it with the Sims 3, and this time if they tried for realistic, I think they would've plunged right to the bottom of it.
If they really are ditching Create-a-Style, though, that's really gonna cripple the game. That was maybe the best innovation the Sims 3 brought to the table, and this would be a SEVERE step back.

I know we're all disappointed about not having height sliders or CASt, but I think the gameplay will distract us from all of that. I know that when I play Sims 3 I forget about all of those things when they have to work, do homework, cook, maintain the social life, and even host birthday parties. Also, Sims 5 should be all about all of the best features of Sims 2, Sims 3, and Sims 4 put into one. That'd be epic!

I have mixed feelings about this, I can't decide whether I like Sims 4 or not, but comparing with earlier sims, sims 4 feels like just a simplified version for kids. That new build mode is all about pre-built rooms and slightly more customization, so is CAS, but considering how much they actually removed from earlier games, I can't help it but say that sims 4 won't be as good as sims 3 or even sims 2.

You have to get over the small things, the game is pretty worth it. I got so caught up in job / hobby game play that I accidentally had a sim grow old and die alone. There are a lot of things in Sims4 that I remember having to go through hell to finally get in Sims3 just to have so much shit that it corrupted my save files. Overall I think it is a step in the right direction.
