You clearly used a very early release for this review or where payd by the guys behind Planet Coaster because I own and have played RCTW a lot and never stumbled with any of the bugs or glitches you displayed on this video, not even the lack of features regarding the shops (like what you said about not being able to control ingredients and stuff.
I would recommend you to revisit it and make a new review because it clearly changed a lot since the time you tried it.
That being said I do have to say that it is sad to me that the guys behind RCTW seemed to not listen to their customers or future customers, there is a huge amount of people (including me) that have been asking for better tools to create darkrides like Disney or Universal Studio rides, with things like Omnimovers (which where added to RCT3 unofficialy, they simply didn't listen and yet today we don't have anything remotely similar to omnimovers or doombuggies on either RCTW or Planet Coaster.

Finally, an honest review. I've had trouble with RCT ever since my Emachine went out years ago, meaning purchasing a copy for a newer model PC is a crapshoot at best. Usually, I was the loser. All of the recommendations were listed on the side of the box but never worked on my PC's. And did I mention the only way you would know that it worked would be to OPEN the game, install from the CD, and crash, bam, boom no workie! Which also meant NO REFUND because it was opened. Let's face it 90% of us are barely tech-savvy enough to play the stinking game, let alone try to make copies for resale! So I'm sure they laughed all the way to the bank knowing they were secure they could keep our money. Those darn Copyright laws need to be tweaked and changed to make it fairer for 90% of average customers.

I feel like not a single person reviewing the game took into account that it was created by the same person who created the CAD software for coaster building and that it was never meant to be a DOOM 3 or ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE or PARKS ARE US SIM. It's CAD and it does a better job at it than even the previous ones and RT3 was a joke as it was the only one not done by the original creator so it took a massive turn toward -gaming- and not true to CAD roots. I love the new interface and it is way better in that respect than planet coaster or anything else trying to be all cartoony and -gaming. - The original concept was to involve kids in actually wanting to engineer and design when they get older, not turn them into couch cushion accessories with a remote in their hand.

Clint, what is your (P)Re)View on RCT Adventures (2018)? World is bad we get that. And I more or less expected that. But never heard of Adventures, and it's on sale now in the Epic store.
EDIT: Never mind, Adventures is even worse! DON'T PLAY IT! Steam has the Atari sale right now till the 6th of April. I am fancying that. RCT3 isn't included, as that has been pulled from Steam for some reason. But World is included. And it seems to be at least better then 3. And that for a bit over 10 -uro's

I have never played this but I did play Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 years ago. I think the reviewer was being really harsh and nitpicky, whining about small things that don't really matter, esspecially as the game had only just been released and that it was rushed out because of a competititor. This game to me looks excellent with a clean and modern user interface and just a few minor bugs that need fixing (which I'm guessing were fixed in future updates/patches.

just RTC RTC 2 feels more rewarding. like i remember when i was kid you start a park and then after time and time you get new RIDES and stuff like, RTC 3 was not bad 2 but in RTC3 the lazzy start menu already started and in the WORLD version is even more borring start screan. so yhea RTC 4 i tink planet coaster did a good job, its even possible to inport blender files custom self made opject texture and your own music

Roller Coaster Tycoon definitely has its place in the past. I played it way back when I was a kid and love to use it when working on a old 95/98 PC. Unfortunately, its stuck in the past and with so many of these sim microtransaction games creeping into the market as well as the usual improvements in technology and VR technology crawling around, it will be very difficult if not impossible to make another great RCT game.

See even though I think planet coaster is great, it's very obviously geared towards people who just want to make visually amazing parks. RCT 1-2 had amazingly good gameplay with tons of depth that I don't think planet coaster captured. It's not a bad thing, but it's not the game I personally wanted. It's really upsetting that RCT world wasn't just a modernized RCT2.

RCT World is a fraud with a borrowed name. The team responsible for what we know and love migrated over to Planet Coaster. This debacle is just a bunch of wannabees with a big corporate name. Obviously. holding the title to a property is not tantamount to holding the essence of the property. Long Live Planet Coaster!
