It's a '90s portable computer! Sort of. More of a pocket organizer that has taken the form of a laptop. And runs on AA batteries. And came from Turkey. Yeah this bilgisayar is an odd one, ha

OMG I remember that, this ''thing'' was the ultimate scam product for the people who didn't know what exactly a PC is. A newspaper gave it, goes like this u buy the newspaper everyday, it has a ticket included (some sort of) we call those ''coupon'', anyway you had to collect them everyday until u reach the specific number of coupons for example 360 coupons. That means people waited this crap for almost a year! My neighbour got one and he invited me to show that because I was good at computers and all kind of electronics back then and I had a pocket computer as well, actually it was a simple data bank from Casio but hey I swear that was better than this: D Comet Notebook was made in Turkey as far as I know that's why u can see Turkish flag in menus and I'm also Turkish but damn that thing was a disaster. :/ My Casio was heavier than that, imagine: D ''Well down'' Comet: )

Based on the Looks of the Note Book and the related Software.
It was probably originally Developed or used to train people in the use of Computers who had absolutely no experience with Computers!
The software probably had extra Software developed for over seas offices.
That one you got was probably built and loaded with it's operating system sometime after 1997 and the factory was probably based in London.

Most of the games are clones of Game Boy games of the same name. Alleyway was in fact an early game boy title, if not a launch title. Tetris is exactly like the game boy version- Type B is basically what is now known as -Ultra- where you have to clear 40 lines. The -High- setting if not zero fills part of the matrix with garbage.

Holy crap, those games - I got those exact ones on some crazy knock off gameboy cartridge in spain in the 90's
I'm guessing this is what this is, a strange knock off laptop you got in those questionable electronic stores full of fake goods and games.

Type B, if I recall correctly, was a mode where you could have random blocks stacked before you begin. -High- in this case would be how many rows up you wanted those blocks. It was like a challenge mode of sorts.

Reminds me of those toy laptops from the 2000-s where it-s got some cartoon branding on it and tricks little kids into believing they-re purchasing the real deal.

This piece of hardware represents current Turkish community and their understanding of technology and development. All and all, better than nothing right? :)

If you could run basic on it without any of the bloatware as well as have a couple of megabytes of storage, or even a floppy it would have been epic

06: 22 probably because of lack of internet in Turkey back in 97-s. Computers werent popular yet and most of the internet dere still English.

I live where you bought the computer. If you contact me I can give you more information about this computer. -
Greetings from TURKEY: )
