The long-lost seventh iteration of Ford Simulator has been found! Not that anyone cares but me. Still, these digital product catalogs were fun in the mid '90s, especially when they're as full of FMV as this

Since I'm brazilian, I had to pause and read about. the magazine talk about shareware and the text talks about -What's about to drive a Ford without get out your PC? -, there's 16 cars that you could drive in USA and see details about each one. It talks about the Ford showroom, but it uses few the VGA mode and thats unforgivable. It's more about curiosity than play (drive, I guess) it.
Well LGR, that's unexpected. but, well, love it too since I love cars and oldies! :D

Nothing in the auto industry has really changed. Car sticker price is $8790, but out the door WITH $1000 down, it becomes $10, 915, but by the time you pay it off it's over $13, 000! For a car with a sticker price of under $9K. So after 4 years and $13, 000, you're left with a Ford Expire that's probably going to the junk yard. Wow Clint! 1117 comments on a video about old -hitty ford software? You've really hit the big time son!

I loved when people advertised their products by making games. The Kellogs game was really awsome - much better than mario. Also later free bionicles I got on cd or something seemed to be polished but shorter. The first kellogs platform game(s) were awsome!
Actually I think this is pretty playable too and fun for getting for free. It is free so you didn't expect the graphics of NFS2, but expected some fun; -)

I must be young enough to have been part of the FMV craze. There was just something about video playing on MY computer that was amazing. Don't even get me started about the 30 disc set of Dragon Ball Z in Japanese that I couldn't understand, but was ripped straight from TV, compressed, and somehow made it to the US and my hands.

Previous versions weren't just made for DOS. We had a Macintosh Classic and I had downloaded a version of this from a local BBS. I thought it was cool being a young kid but soon became bored with it. Thanks for posting this video though. Just had a flood of memories come back of my childhood and our Macintosh

That very specific and very brief moment in time you speak of will probably go down in history as a very critical time in human society and I will be able to proudly say I was there, and because of that I know how to live on either side of that time period.

In 1996 my fmaily was looking at the BRAND NEW Toyota Rav4. We got the cdrom for that to play on our IBM Aptiva. I spent a few hours customizing Rav 4's and then watching them drive through the desert or whatever with funky music. You'd think that car was a pop idol.

they clearly missed an opportunity to do a crossover between the driving game and Oregon Trail. I actually had some version of Ford Simulator at some point. I mostly remember the driving game was terrible and I didn't care about the rest of it

OMG, I laughed so hard when that excited gas attendants face popped up! Your verbal confirmation execution was perfectly timed! I must have replayed that bit like 10 times. My wife came to check on me because how loud and hysterically I was laughing.

Thanks for clarifying EXACTLY what it was. I remember playing this in the late 90s. I couldn't remember WHAT it was called. I played it on 101 DOS Games on a free promotional product from Best Buy. I NEVER KNEW its history until now.
