House of the Dragon season 2 is over, and some fans want to send it back for a refund. Our take It's not all bad, but it's not all good, and in retrospect, there are a couple of red flags about where this was all going that we really should've noticed. #HouseOfTheDragon #HotD #RedFlags Official Looper Website Read Full Article:

This entire series stinks. I watched the whole of season one and got 2 episodes into season two and its the same pile of steaming, humorless crap. Note to showerunners. No one is going to give a crap about your Game of Thrones show when there isnt a single likeable character to be found anywhere in your fantasy world. If there is no levity, charm or humor to be found in your characters(and there is none) then all of the melodramatic twaddle is going to bore everyone.
That is exactly what this show does. It bores. That was definitely not the case with the original Game of Thrones(forget that final season. There was charm and humor and levity galore to balance out the more serious moments and themes of that show. There were characters who were incredibly complex(as in human) who would charm in one episode only to repel in later episodes, seemingly beyond redemption only to win the audience back again later down the road. None of that complexity in House of the Dragon and because of that it is incredibly boring.

I think the show is pretty good but the main problem is you know where it’s gonna end up that’s the problem with prequels you already know who’s gonna side with who if your a game of thrones fan because you know who sided with the Targaryens and who sided with the alliance so you basically know who comes out on top here it’s whomever the Lannister’s side with and you know the side that’s in power now will not succeed because they’re tied in with house Tyrell who still hold a grudge against the Lannister’s for these events in game of thrones because the Lannister’s are still tied in with the Targaryens until they literally and figuratively stab them in the back and side with the barathian - stark alliance

For the most part, I was entertained by season 2 and that's all I ask of a show, is to entertain me. I don't have to have my mind blown, or be on the edge of my seat for every single episode. However, episode 8 It wasn't just boring, it was mind numbing. The entire episode I was waiting for something, anything, to happen, and all I got was repetition. Having no story progression is one thing, but playing what were essentially the same scenes over and over. good Lord, how does that happen in a fantasy universe where you have so much to work with And to clarify. this is just my opinion, formed by my taste, I'm not any kind of expert on anything.

Would everyone rather have house of dragon be like GOT season 8 Just nonstop action/battles, no logic, no god damn character development I'll take a slow HOD season with slow episodes over the former. Stop complaining about it being too slow or the directors can give you a repeat of season 8 of GOT to shut you all up lol

They're already lost 4 million viewers just in season 2 according to ratings. Season 1 avenged 29 million and season 2 drops to 25 million viewers. Now its official show would end with its 4th season in 4-6 years with just 16 episodes which means 8 episodes per season.

Can't believe I wasted 2 years of my life for these filler episodes! Rhaenys and Meleys were killed at Rook's Rest, yet Rhaenyra and Alicent somehow want to settle for a peaceful solution. They made a mistake by letting that Sapochnik guy go, you can tell.

He right! Can't have a finale like that! I read the books and still wanted something more than that snooze fest of a season ending! I'm literally not even excited for season 3 and it killed my enthusiasm for Dunc and Egg

You missed the whole point of Daemon this season, he’s learned the song of ice and fire, essentially the same as Aegon, he knows what’s to come and why he has to turn down the chance for the crown

Episode 8 was a fine episode. It just shouldn’t have been the finale. If this was a full ten episode season, episode 9 and 10 would have the climax that was built up by episode 7 and 8.

HotD Season two wasa the best written and preformed season of the GoT show since maybe season 4 or 5 of GoT, o don'r get all the hate. the season was great. much better then 1

I don’t follow the show closely enough to have known, but I legitimately did not think that was the final episode. As a casual, that was really abrupt and anticlimactic

Its people like this dollar store weird al that causes review bombings. seasok 2 was fine, just becayse it doesn't meet YOUR expectations, doesnt mean it was bad
reply

Yeah I’ve kinda already decide that once it’s all said and done I will probably be like well that sucked but there are worse ways to waste time I guess
reply

It's like since the show runners know theyre getting another season they think they can have a season finale of all filler & cliffhangers. SMH LoL
reply

Yes, the season finale was a bit of a letdown, but it wasn't as bad as painted but please go ahead and do a review for star wars the acolyte

For 6 directors for five scenes and eight episodes they did great. Sad we didn't get to see Vhagar burn Snapping Point but
reply

Yea not a bad season at all. Ive watched many shows these past few years and this one maintains a quality worth a watch still.
