Must-See Superhero Movies That Stand Out Above the Rest
video description
The First Avenger, another great hero origin, setting up everything Cap should be, and Winter Soldier, because it rocks.
Batman The Movie, for kicking off the dark superhero genre and showing adults that comic book heroes don't have to be campy.
Hellboy 1 and 2, because it's by del Toro.
Wonder Woman, for it's anti-war message and Gal Gadot.
Superman The Movie, for being the granddaddy of all serious superhero movies.

Spiderman 1-2 by Sam Raimi
Watchmen
Hellboy
The first 2 X-Men
Unbreakable
Batman Begins
I can't pinpoint it exactly, I think it was after Batman Begins. Every superhero movie became exactly the same. Iron man, the avengers, guardians of the galaxy and so much more. What sets these movies apart? It's like watching the same thing with different costumes. Back before hollywood realised they can make gazilions of dollars they actually put effort into their superhero shit, they had character, now it's as if they all come out of the same mold.

I don't know about civil war a bit to quippy for my tastes and I didn't feel the stakes that I felt a conflict of that magnitude would warrant black panther almost felt like he was in a different movie. I would replace that with its predecessor winter solider much better movie imo more characters don't mean better. DOFP is is iffy as well to many unnecessary changes and once again a bunch of cool characters get shafted to focus on 6 0r 7 two of which have alternate verisons.

I enjoy speculative lists, they tend to be good conversation starters. But you've gotta get your facts right. You should have someone read the comics before claiming a film's even loosely based on them. 'Logan' and the comic arc 'Old Man Logan' are in no way related, nor is the film even loosely based on them. Unless Mark Millar managed to trademarked old age.

MCU is just too overrated. Don't get me wrong, they are fun too watch but at some point the movies were just too predictable. The villains were too weak compared to the heroes. For style and action is was great but most of the times viewers just too fascinated with these eye candy

I have to say Iron-Man is my number 1 superhero movie. The reason for it is that its not just a cool character and great origin story but the movie has lessons to be taught and a it conveyed a message (think back to the time when it was made and what was going on in the world.

X Men 2000 was the greatest superhero movie ever. X Men 2, Days of Future Past and First Class were also in my top 5. I think the only non-X Men superhero movie in my top 5 would have to be Ironman or Dark Knight but hands down the greatest superhero movie franchise is X Men
