Why You Never Got To See Wayne's World 3
video description
First off ALL these SNL based movies (with the exception of Coneheads) happened AFTER WWII came out! Wikipedia much mojo? Check yr TIMELINES please!
ALSO factor in the pompous arrogance of Loren Michaels and his OCD need for which is the main reason he green lighted all those mostly crappy ass features but NEVER a Matt Foley one
Loren tends to take A BIG CUT being he owns the rights to everything like Wayne & Garth so I believe Mike intentionally made the sequel LAME to get Loren's fangs out of his jugular! He left after fourteen episodes into the godawful 20th anniversary season probably because he knew if he screamed YEAH BABY at a writers meeting Loren would have another cash cow to exploit!
Think about it.

I actually did see Wayne's World 3. They filmed it at the same time as 2. When 2 did so poorly they trashed the footage of 3 and buried it deep underneath Easter Island. In 2012 during all the Mayan calendar bs, a group of people were on the island when they stumbled upon a cave that lead deep underground. They found the film down there and many others like Ghostbusters 3 and Gilgli 2. Apparently they had to give a film in order to take one. They gave Shazam (1994) the genie movie with Sinbad. I probably shouldn't be saying all this on the interwebs but I couldn't hold it back any longer.

The only sequel that was better than the first movie was Aliens. Full stop, no need to argue. :) Noone expects sequels to be better.
Now is the perfect time for another Waynes world. Set in the current times, and something to see that isn't another pile of boom bay crap or another yawn fest superhero reboot shit ball movie flung at the wall to see if it sticks yet. Just like a computer, there are only so many times you should reboot before you actually try something different to fix the problem.

Waynes World 1 did so great because in the early 90s 80s style metal was huge and the fans of that 80s style metal loved Waynes World. By the time part 2 was made it didnt do so hot because it came out at the height of grunge and thats a different audience. its that simple. The only way a part 3 would happen is if the hair metal scene and fans were huge again. But the changing music scene of the 90s killed off waynes world.

Roxbury may not have been a financial success, but not a lot of people thought it was a bad movie, people just weren't as familiar with the skit as they were with Wayne's World. I would watch another Wayne's World or another Roxbury in a heartbeat today. They just need to keep the producer's greedy hands out of influencing the project and put it in the hands of someone passionate about the whole thing.

I'd love to see Wayne's World 3. To see what an older Wayne and Garth are up to these days in 2020. Unfortunately, we may never get to see it. It would be nostalgic and I think it could be a success. Even if not a success, fans would be in for a great treat. Wayne's World is a classic. Another Austin Powers movie would be awesome as well. Mike Myers has always been one of my favorite comedians.

Without doing a complete reboot with new actors the only way it would work would be to see Wayne and Garth with families and kids of their own. With so many teens and young adults being YouTube stars, even if only in their own heads, it would be easy to see their kids doing their own shows like their dads did before them. - I'm not sure if audiences would like that though.

You gotta understand when he made Wayne's World Heavy Metal was still around it was hanging on buy a string but still around when he made Wayne's World 2 Heavy Metal was dead you had bands like Nirvana Stone Temple Pilots Creed grunge Rock alternative music we're really popular that's why it flopped at the box office

In Wayne's world, the local access tv show most likely would've evolved into a youtube podcast. They should do a few super low budget podcasts. It would be cool to see what Wayne and Garth are up to. Local access tv was, in a way, the original youtube.

Wayne's world 2 wasn't that great. it seemed like it was pre Austin Powers in terms of the humor.
I can only imagine what 3 would have been like. plus metal culture changed by the late 90s. Grunge came. death metal came. guns and roses. it wasn't the same.
