How Gwendoline Christie Got Ripped To Play Brienne Of Tarth
video description
Glad I have a real President and not the equivalent of a Mafia Don in the position anymore. The Clinton's, Bush's, and Soetoro are all on the same team, just FYI.

I love the character she plays on the show. Loyal, kind, hardworking and committed to those she cares about. The actress is funny in interviews and looks completely different with girlie clothes, makeup and hair done. Her smile is gorgeous. She's got a great personality! I also have to admire her dedication to the show by making a drastic lifestyle change. She's one of my faves on the show!

Brienne is the best character in GoT. Not the most charming, like Tyrion. Not the most interesting, like Danny. Not the most influential, like Bran. She's the BEST, like Superman. She is the best of us. Compassionate to the core, but badass when she has to be. If everyone wished to be more like her, the world would be a better place.

she isn't ripped and she isn't 6'3, she wears lifts on GOT to look bigger, she's around 6'0 in reality.
you can see her height changing throughout the show, when she travels with Jaime, they are about the same height (he's 6'0) but when she fights the hound (6'6) she's almost as tall as him.

Now, if only they could make her look anything but a lumbering lunk on the battlefield. Brienne is probably in the top ten best fighters in Westeros and yet onscreen she moves like an ox. And that has to have been a deliberate choice on the part of the Directors.

And just think, she used the rewards for all that training into practice with Brienne of Tarth, along with other roles since, like Phasma, only she didn't have much screen time. I'm guessing she did both at the same time, hence why she only had five scenes

There has never been a female Knight. It's a total Cucks fantasy that some monster woman like that could go around killing male Knights and killers. Only self-hating men (leftists) think it's actually even a vague possibly within a made-up world.

4: 22 Look at how she stumbles and gains her footing again to face him almost immediately after. She knows this fight is to the death and she never sacrifises a moment. Thats true commitment to the part. She is living it. In every little detail!

I think she does a great job with the part, but the character in the book is heinously ugly. I still think it's good casting though. It's a different medium, so you can't expect everything to be exactly the same. That's very hard to do.

And they pretty much nailed it when they hired Gwendoline Christie for the part. Well. according to the books, Brienne was pretty homely and very unattractive. I wouldn't say that about Christie. She does a great job though.
