Controversial Things Actors Have Done That Fans Will Never Forget

It seems like these days actors, and celebrities in general, aren't quite so easily forgiven when it comes to their screw-ups. Whether you want to call that cancel culture, consequences culture, or something else, it genuinely seems like actors can't get away with anywhere near as much as they used to. Sometimes the worst they get is a bit of hate from the fans, sometimes their careers take a hit for a while, and other times though it's rare their careers disappear altogether. From silly to criminal to absolutely unforgivable, each instance was completely avoidable, and records of it will live on as some of the dumbest things actors have done to make us give up on them. Curious to see who made the cut at some of their biggest downfalls? Stay tuned to find out some of the most controversial things actors have done that fans will never forget.

Gina Carano said nothing wrong and her termination was unjustified.
My respect for Will Smith is dead
Roseanne was just telling a joke
Scarlett Johansson was just ACTING and is innocent
Ezra Miller, Mel Gibson, Jared Leto, and Jusssie Smollett are pieces of shit
Dave Chappelle is a g. o. a. t of stand up comedy
Christian Bale's rant was more memorable than the movie he was working on
Mayim Bialik is just telling the truth

11: 25 Suggesting a rape victim to learn how to avoid getting raped again is considered rape shaming? Hmm. So I guess I shouldn't help rape victims learn the fastest & easiest ways how to incapacitate & escape a rapist in fear that it could be perceived as blaming the victim for not escaping before getting raped. Mayim Bialik is as smart as she is talented.

8: 22 the Chicago PD had become convinved. it seemed that he hired?
They should have said, 'the Chicago PD discovered/revealed/proved. he hired'?
While he got off light.
How light? Consider what would have happened if he was a famous white actor making false claims against non-whites.

Ezra Miller is out of control but Warner Bros continues to remain silent about all of these disturbing incidents. Even when he's accused of grooming two underage girls. One of whom he hung out with when she was 12 years old but now she's 18 years old and in hiding with Ezra Miller.

As for Gibson, he had already established himself as an independent commodity not beholden directly to Hollyweird, had his rant & mea culpa period BEFORE cancel culture ever became a serious threat.

Noooooo not the SAME blazer! You mean she just like me and wears pieces of clothing more than once. She not a man so of course everything thing wears, says & does is judged. Misogyny at its best.

The Ghost in the Shell example is a hilariously bad one. Major Kusanagi has never been depicted as looking as Japanese as she is. Are y'all even remotely aware of the source material?

Chappelle should NOT be on this list, he was telling a heart felt Story of One of his best friends that had past, and making comedy he knows she would of found hilarious.

Why is it that actors get called for what they say or do but not politicians? Some of them need to watch what they say as well they are in the public eye as well.

Carano's tweet did not compare people she disagreed with with Nazis.
That's such a hilariously mischaracterisation of what she actually tweeted.
